how are these for cutting vinyl floor tiles? any others in this price range that are better? thank you

Probly not good. They are for cutting leather, burlap, canvas, and the like.

Are the handles of Crescent Wiss 10" shop shears W912 dishwasher safe?

These is a professional tool. I clean them with mineral spirits. I cannot imagine a situation that would require a dishwasher.

How heavy are shears? Do they work wll with small hands

We have several pair of these shears in our shop. We use them daily to cut heavy craft paper patterns, roof materials, and light gauge metal. I have big hands and the handles are a bit snug for me.
