I have a narrow heel and they didn’t slip off when I walked plus there was plenty of room for my big toes and bunions. The leather is soft and supple. The style is plain and they look smart, but they are flats. I wish they came in other colors in my size and would like a pump like this with a block heel. Hope Clark’s has them. They do run a little big so I returned and very quickly received a smaller pair. I recommend ordering 1/2 size smaller. **Q: Is this shoe a good fit for a high instep?** A: All I can say is that I am a 7 Med and it fits perfectly.
