The Great Snowball Battle

We are a game playing family. The Great Snowball Battle was a great addition to our collection this Christmas. It is a lighthearted card game that simulates a snowball battle with friends. Get hit with a snowball and you lose a piece of your gear. Lose all of your gear and your mom calls you home (you're out). The game always varies, as you are always rotating your throwing location and items (accessories that might help you during the fight). We have played it with 3 people up to 6 people with lots of laughs. I like that there is both strategy and luck as well as a good bit of humor in the game (e.g., draw an event card titled yellow snow and you all clear out!). Reminds us a bit of munchkin without the sexual or language references that perhaps my 9 year old shouldn't be seeing :-) Fairly quick to learn and has been easy to teach others. Great artwork, portable (box is really not necessary), and we love that it came with blank cards that we can customize and shuffle in to the deck. It has definitely been one we have been pulling out when friends of all ages are over.

I bought this game for my kids for Christmas, and they love it. They like trying out different characters for their abilities, and they think it's fun to pick out gear. Whoever created this game had a great sense of humor. My son giggled so much that he couldn't read the event card "yellow snow" aloud. I like the humor and the fact that the game doesn't take very long to play.

This game is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. Basic reading and simple addition skills are required. The cards have amusing descriptions and illustrations, which led to a lot of laughter when we played. The game can take longer than 20 minutes if you have a lot of people playing because the game play is "elimination" style, with the last person to survive the snowball battle declared the winner.This is a great game for families or adult gatherings--highly recommend! (I got this game for Christmas and have no relationship to the creators.)

This game is straight forward to learn and a total blast to play. It's a card game where you throw snowballs at your friends to try to blow their cover, resulting in a hit. Three hits, and you're out of the round. Throw in some super-cool items, unexpected events, and characters with their own unique skills, and things really get interesting. I've owned this game for just a few weeks now and it's a hit with both my family and friends. My fingers are crossed for an expansion soon!
