My son really loves his little venus fly trap which he got for his birthday. so far it has only sprouted a little, looking forward to it growing bigger. Great for kids to show them the process of growing a plant from seed.

I really wanted this to work, but unfortunately it didn’t. I followed the instructions carefully step by step, used the recommended conditions (light, water, and placement), and gave it plenty of time — but none of the seeds germinated at all. After waiting a few weeks with no results, it’s clear the seeds were either poor quality or not viable. For the price, this is extremely disappointing and feels like a waste of money. You’re honestly better off buying seeds, soil, and pots separately from a reputable supplier, as you’ll likely get much better results for less cost.

This seems to be a lovely kit. We haven't actually planted the seeds yet - Harry's just going to do that - but it all looks great, with nice clear instructions, pots and accessories and seeds in an attractive box. We're both very excited. Hope they grow. Fingers and toes crossed.

Was relatively happy with this kit. Instructions were ok but still had to find out more online. However, now that the plant has grown a bit, I've discovered that what is sold as a venus flytrap, is a different plant altogether. Unfortunately quite some time has passed since I bought this lie so doesnt look like i can get my money back, but I'm extremely disappointed as this was a present for my son. Amazon should investigate this immediately.

Followed instructions to grow my Venus fly trap, seeds never took even kept them in my propagator, on a plus side you recieve some free bonsai tree seeds they took brilliant and look good. You also recieve a coupon to order a free mister. Ordered this and never arrived. Not a bad purchase but probably won’t order again. Would definitely try some of the other products but Venus fly traps are hard to grow from seed

This is a nice looking kit. The instructions are clear and I am optimistic I will be able to grow these successfully. I have not grown them yet so I cannot comment on how well they will do. There is some nice bonuses of the opportunity for some free tools and some some free seeds included in the box, though it would have been nice if you were told what they were.

Still not sure if my Venus flytrap will sprout and grow. I have the pot under a grow light nothing yet. Here is a picture of the mimosa seeds that come as a thank you gift. (MIMOSA NEEDS NORMAL WATER NOT RAIN OR DISTILLED well that’s the water I’m using for the mimosa. I was spraying it with a big spray bottle to keep the water moist. Venus flytrap I’m using distilled.)

Overpriced for some really quite cheap simple items. Main issue is that it does not contain everything you need as stated in the description. Per the instructions you must use distilled water which is not included. Cannot start without it.

Samen habe ich nach Anleitung eingepflanzt. Empfehlung des Anbieters: es kann bis zu 3 Monate dauern, bis der Samen keimt. Problem ist nur, dass es auch nach 3 Monaten bei mir keine Entwicklung gibt und das 14tägige Rückgaberecht längst abgelaufen ist. Auf Anfragen reagiert der Anbieter nicht. Ich sitze auf einer teuren Handvoll Erde, Fotos davon erspare ich euch. Würde das "Produkt" nicht noch einmal kaufen und es auch niemanden empfehlen.
