Wild Caught Pink Salmon with Skin & Bones, 14.75 oz (Pack of 12)

I’ve usually bought Honey Boy salmon because that’s what my mom and grandma bought for years, so that has always been the brand I naturally reached for. I decided to try this Bumble Bee Wild Caught Pink Salmon 14.75 oz 3-pack using our simple family salmon patty recipe, and I was very pleased with it. The first thing I noticed was the taste. It was very clean and mild, with no fishy taste at all. It had such good flavor on its own that I didn’t need to add any extra seasoning. The texture was meaty and flaky without being mushy, and the moisture level was just right for forming patties. They held together well and stayed tender inside while developing a crisp coating outside. For one 14.75 oz can, I used 1 egg to bind the salmon. I formed the patties, then used about 1/2 sleeve of crushed saltine crackers only as the outside coating before frying them in a small amount of olive oil. That’s it — no crackers mixed into the salmon and no extra seasoning needed. I also like the healthiness of this as a simple family meal. Salmon is a good source of protein, and because the flavor is already so good, I don’t feel the need to load it up with extra seasonings or heavy ingredients. I also only use a small amount of olive oil to cook the patties rather than deep frying them. The size of the can is great for a family meal. One can made enough salmon patties to feed 3 adults for dinner. I made the smaller patties for myself, but one of mine didn’t even make it to the table. While I was doing my video demonstration, my husband tried one and immediately said, “OMG, those are so good!” I also think the 3-pack is a good value, especially since one can provided a full meal for three adults and there are still two cans left for future meals. After years of buying the same salmon my mom and grandma used, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about switching brands, but Bumble Bee passed our family salmon-patty test. The clean, non-fishy taste, good texture, easy preparation, healthiness, and useful can size all impressed me. Thank goodness it came with three cans, because we’ll definitely be making these again.

I really like this Bumble Bee wild-caught pink salmon. It’s great on salads or mixed with cream cheese for a quick dip. The pouches are convenient to keep on hand for an easy meal, and they’re also easy to take with you when traveling. Very tasty and convenient.

This salmon tastes great and is a magnificent source of protein. It is fresh tasting and is not salty. It goes well with eggs, salad or any kind of dish using salmon including seafood soup. It also tastes good in spaghetti sauce as a replacement for ground beef. I have repeatedly purchased it from Amazon and the quality has always been impeccable.

I really like this Salmon and will continue to order it In This last order the box was not at all damaged all three cans had dents! I am concerned that the contents could have been affected.

I like the product - besides the salmon itself, it has a nice amount of skin in it, which I like. If I drain all the liquid, it’s not too salty. The only part I have a problem with is that my automatic can opener will not open the can! It simply will not pierce the lid! I use it for all other cans no problem. I have to use my manual can opener with the two little wheels and open it that way that’s the four stars.

Pink Salmon with bones is unpleasant to eat. Feeling harder pieces while I chew was not a great texture. I endure the bones because I believe it adds to the nutrition. I've started crushing the Salmon on a plate first to try and crush the bones before I eat it. The bones are not hard but they are noticeably harder than the Salmon meat and skin. I would buy this again but now I know about the bone texture, which is not enjoyable to chew, to me.

I love salmon cakes and I buy canned salmon in case I want to make some now but don't want to go out. Forgot how tasty this is and I will absolutely reach for it again and again.

It’s a very good product but way overpriced. Will not buy often
