Purchased by accident. Pleasant Surprise.
We prefer Dark Roast and purchased the medium Roast and we're pleasantly surprised and the full flavor which held up to 'au lait'.

Was great coffee, but too finely ground. But it just changed
I buy whatever 100% arabica medium roast coffee is cheapest at the time of purchase, and Seattle's Best has been in my rotation a few times. One problem with it is, though, it is so finely ground that that it almost overflows a paper filter when brewing, so I am wary. But it is fine in a mesh filter. And it was otherwise a great-tasting medium roast coffee. I say "was" since I have not bought it in the past month where it appears to have changed. It appears that most if not all the Seattle's Best ground coffees are no longer 100% Arabica. That phrase has disappeared on all the labels and ingredients lists, and they will always state 100% Arabica if it is. Note that some of the Amazon product descriptions still say they are, despite the change. So, it looks like they are crappifying the brand.

This is a nice smooth quality tasting ground coffee. I prefer a medium mild taste for my coffee. This mixes good with a vanilla flavor, or carnation milk in the can, or add pumpkin spice to enhance the taste. This grants a warm smooth tasting cup of coffee! I would repurchase this product.

Seattmes Best Portside medium roast. I ordered this 2 reasons: My Don Fransisco coffee did not deliver & this Portside Roast was on sale available today's delivery. Yum! Nice dark-side of medium, can be brewed strong without being bitter. I have just found my daily multi-cups affordable go-to Medium-Dark roast @ 60% cost of prior quality roasts. 12grams of medium-fine pre-ground 'medium roast', per 8oz water. 1-2 Tblspns half&half creamer. YUM (Peets Major Dickason's & Kicking Horse you now have a solid runner-up!)

Thought I was buying DECAF Coffee! :(
This coffee, which I thought was DECAF when ordering it from Amazon, turned out to be strong flavorful coffee, but not what I wanted. I ended up using 1/6 of it to my usual 6 scoops of decaf blends, to end up with a decent cup of coffee that won't trigger my heart arrhythmia. It tastes okay, seems to add a little "boost" of flavor to the other blends with no Caffeine Buzz, but I would like to pose a question/challenge to vendors: WHY is it so hard to locate DECAF ground coffee nowadays; and WHY is the price so outrageous, when we do find it for sale? I see the six-can offer at Amazon is now TWICE as costly as it was when I bought it 2 years ago. The cost seems exorbitant and I hope Amazon can find a way to offer DECAF coffee that tastes good but does not break the bank when we purchase it! Thanks for offering several options (brands) while we wait for the prices of DECAF to stabilize and come down some!
