if you squirt too much out of the tube, does the opening allow you to put some back in?

If you are wanting to put excess paint back into a paint tube you could try using the tube to syphon the paint back in, but we think that being a little conservative when squeezing paint out would be easier. The set contains all different colors of paint. There are no duplicates.

I suggest you ask the manufacturer. The tubes don't mention toxicity.
