Saves my sanity!
I have a small Bichon puppy. This has saved my life as it gets him out from under my feet and he isn’t stuck in a dark kennel. You can configure the playpen in different ways and we are currently using 6 panels and use the other two in an L shape to block him from running into our family room. It works for a small dog and I would say medium size dog. I’m not sure about larger dogs or dogs that can climb over everything such as Terriers and others. We love it, you do need some space to set it up depending on how many panels you use. We set it up so it blocks the opening into our family room . There is still a gap so we can walk into our family room, but we use the extra two panels in an L-shaped that just slide back-and-forth and nicely block the rest of the family room entrance, but allows us to move in and out of it freely. I bought two super large waterproof pads for the floor and then I put the towels on that so if the dog has an accident or spills its water, my hardwood floors are protected. I wouldn’t set it over the carpet, because if the dog pulled up the pads they could chew a hole in the carpet, so that’s how I deal with it. A person could set it up with only four panels, but that seems a little small to me, we used 6 of the 8 panels, but everybody has to decide what works best for them. The panels themselves go together pretty easily, it just takes a few minutes to figure out how they snaps into place and after that it’s pretty straightforward. It seems to hold up well and has a doggie door that you can lock. I take a tiny bungee cord and sometimes prop the door open and then the dog can go in and out freely when I’m around. Just make sure the bungee cord isn’t on the side the dog can chew it up and swallow it. It all works great for me. FYI the waterproof pads I bought from Amazon are actually designed for a human being. They are one large piece and fit under the whole six panel play pen set up with slight overlap. Good luck!

Just what I needed - Instantly improved my life
I am a stay at home mom. My 12 month old son is at the stage where he wants to constantly chase and grab our dogs and cannot understand why that hurts them, resulting in me constantly having to try to make sure both the dogs and my son are safe... and it is exhausting. Enter the idea to get an enclosure. I freaking love this enclosure. It is freestanding and able to be configured. I used six of the eight panels to make a perfect sized get away for my small dogs. The doggy door is GENIUS and the only one I saw that had such a feature. It enables the dogs to enter when they need safety and keeps my son out and I DON'T HAVE TO LET THEM IN or out. This enables us to be together as much as possible and simplified my daily routine.

Pawrent & Pup Approved!
I like the flexibility you have to remove panels add panels. I like the door. It was easy to put together, once I figured out the push down pull up thing. We have a 4 month old Frenchie, so he fits perfect through the door. It is pretty sturdy. I do wish the non-slip grip pads were around and fit the feet on the panels, but other than that it’s great. As you can see from the pics, you can make whatever shape you like. Be careful when adjusting, it is plastic. It has NOT broke or snapped, but I feel like if you are rough with it, it will. You can use this inside and outside. We have tile floors and we haven’t had an issue. The sides are pretty high, so make it smaller if you are short you can reach and clean the inside. I wish it had a door for the pawrents, but it doesn’t. For the price, this item is great! I have gates, but he finds ways to escape. He has NOT and I don’t believe he can escape in this. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!

A godsend for young puppies; ages 2-6 months, Not tall enough for bigger dogs.
I love this pet play yard, easy to assemble and easy to clean, BUT, it is NOT high enough. I can’t find a product that is higher, so just working with it for now. It would be perfect for small dogs. Mine is a “mini goldendoodle”. However she stands up on her hind legs and can put her face over the fence. We’ve just had it a few days now and already she is jumping as if to leap this fence. She is 10 weeks old; I can see the day when she clears it and then I will have a chewy puppy running all over my house! So love the product; it’s sturdy, highly configurable for your space, non slip pads actually work, I’m just nervous that it’s not tall enough, and will only keep this puppy contained for a few more weeks. Don’t know what I’m going to do then! Wish they made an extension to make this higher or offered some kind of “roof”. Edited to add about four months later: so my mini goldendoodle never was able to jump this; she just stood up on her hind legs and put her head over the top. It turned out to be very useful as a way to contain her when it was just one parent at home with a kid and you need to make dinner or do chores and can’t watch a puppy for biting, nipping etc. I still wish it was higher but it has been so very useful to give her a place to be with her chew toys and not pee all over the house. I would put her bell for potty training on the corner so she could let me know when she needed to go. Really, this product was a godsend (in hindsight). I noticed we rarely use it now after she turned about 6-7 months, so it was easy to clean, dissemble, and I was able to sell it to someone else. Nice!

A bit heavy but amazing multiple uses
It's very heavy but a good thing because that means it'll last a long time. We bought this when my pup was 10 weeks old to help her potty train by attaching a bell near the doggy flap and then when she could hold it we moved the bell to the back door. We still use it today at 8 months to keep her in during the day while we are at work because she has some destructive habits when we aren't there. This has helped us immensely and was the best purchase I ever made for my dogs training. We've been leaving her out for short periods of time and i noticed she's more calmer and less destructive. It's like the pen has taught her calmess and patience is what's most rewarding and grants her a little bit of freedom. I like the design of it too, my pup is a medium sized dog but she doesn't attempt to climb or jump out of the pen which I love. Its high enough for when she was a puppy, now that she's older she could try to but she doesn't. Great for blocking off areas she's not allowed in and for keeping contained when you aren't there! 10/10!

Great Item
We got a new dog and this seemed perfect. Read a good number of reviews and there’s always going to be bad ones however we the good out weighed the bad so we chose to get it. The size, durability, and the pass through door won us over. We’ve had for it for 2 weeks and so far it lives up to all of the good reviews we based this purchase off of. One of the best features is the ability to alter the shape which allowed us to make it fit perfectly in our family room and we can remove or add sections if needed. I do wish it had a door so us humans can easily get in and out. In the review I gave it 5 stars for sturdiness and 5 for easy to clean however I gave it 4 stars for easy to assemble. I did that because it’s a bit awkward at first trying to figure out the assembly and move the sections however after the first couple of sections you end up getting it. My wife and I bought the 8 panel unit and we’re considering buying additional sections. Great product, priced very well compared to others, very durable.

Not ideal for bigger breeds
Our 3.5 month old lab (28 lbs) is having a hard time learning that we are not his teething toys. After a month of trying to train him not to chew on us we decided to get this dog play yard so we can "leave" when he starts bitting us and hopefully he will learn we don't want to play with him when he bites. However... this is my fault for not reading the description fully...I assumed there where two doors, a small door for small dogs (which is pictured) and a designated door on one of the panels to open for larger breed puppies/ dogs. That is not the case. There is only the small door, not a bigger designated door that swings open on one of the panels. I suppose you could un-snap the hinges to let out the bigger bread puppies, but it is not easy to keep snapping and unsnapping each time, it's not ideal. For now he is able to crotch down far enough to get out but I think that will only last another couple weeks. He is currently gaining about 10 lbs every 3 weeks. Hopefully he will learn in the next couple weeks not to bite us before he is too big for this. If I would have known there wasn't a bigger door for bigger breeds on this play yard I would have gotten this play yard a month ago when we first got him or look for a play yard for bigger breeds. However, it is sturdy and easy for a one time assemble if you are not planning on un-snapping each time to let out a bigger breed. Would buy for a smaller breed. I do think the price is right for this kind of product.

A life saver for multiple dog homes 🥰🐶🐶
I've been going CRAZY trying to keep up with 2 out of my 4 fur kids. They think everything is fair pee game. I needed a playpen that was sturdy, spacious, and something they'll enjoy; I found the one! I've only just put it up but they seem to like it. This will definitely help with potty breaks without marking in between. The doggy door will be a learning process but we've already had a successful entry on the first try. :) It's not so high that I can't comfortably get in and out and the color is nice. It's also super customizable as you can buy more panels or take some off. I like how it's plastic so no rust and easy to clean. The 1 thing is that it's kind of hard to shape but I'm sure you just have to break it in some. If you've been looking for one, get this one. 😄

Me encantó
Está de muy buen tamaño para mis chihuahuas, la altura está perfecta, no es muy baja ni muy alta así que cumple su función. La puertita le da un plus bonito. La calidad del plástico es buena, realmente es muy linda.

Good product
We purchased it for our new puppy- I wanted something that doesn't look like a cage. It's sturdy, it was easy to put together, and now that our dog is grown, we removed 4 panels and kept a smaller, 4 panel version with the flap door, as his "sanctuary" - we keep his toys in there and he goes there to hide whenever I try to trim his nails. The other panels come in handy if I want to stop him from getting to something - we put them around the Christmas tree for example. Overall a good product.

Grandeur parfaite

Great for a puppy shih tzu
This is a great size for a Shih Tzu puppy and has served its purpose. Easy set-up, great locking door, easy to step over to get into the pen. I deducted a star as my puppy is now 12 weeks and I worry it won't be strong enough to hold him much longer.
