Orbit 56667N Zinc Impact Sprinkler on Tripod Base

Easy to use. Easy to adjust. You may get a bit damp adjusting it while the water is on but not if you stand on the hose for a few seconds. Needed an adapter but found one in the “stuff that might come in handy” drawer in the shed. Mechanical so not much to go wrong. Seems very sturdy. Pleased with this purchase. Worth the money.

I chose this product because it had better reviews for the strength of the tripod than others sold on Amazon. I had bought one sprinkler in which the tripod was so badly made that I was amazed anyone would sell it at all - see my review. The Orbit tripod is a well made product and strong enough for the purpose intended, although stronger ones are available from trade suppliers. The female screw thread in the Orbit tripod is brass, which is much better than the plastic some other products use and doesn't leak. With the legs extended, it doesn't fall over as some reviewers claim. I can't speak for the sprinkler as I use a spinner instead. The spinner is from Darlac and works a treat.

Good product well made and versatile - very very happy. I had one with a spike - it lasted one week when the spike broke off in hard ground, because it was dry, that is why I was using the sprinkler Mr Production man !!!

Poor quality. Leaks at all joints. See video. I bought this before going on a month’s holiday so the return window was closed. It nearly works if I stand beside it and reset it as I did twice in the video. There’s a link for product support which ends up in a chat (presumably a bot) with the manufacturer - I don’t have time for this. On looking at this again, there are approx 6,300 review of 3 products with very different prices (£166, £114 and the one I bought for £53). Very different quality may be expected at these 3 price points but the reviews cover all of the products. When writing this review, all 3 products have 6,300 reviews with a score of 4.3. This is utter nonsense and misleading.

I am pleased with this sprinkler. Our water pressure is good, so it can blow it over if not set up carefully. It does cover a good area and I am happy with this, especially as the price was good. So happy, I have bought a second one and work great together.

Robust and fairly precise

Be aware the threads on these impact sprayers are US NPT 3/4 inch threads. We in Europe use BSP which is very different. Therefore if you want to use a professional Geka 3/4 adapter to connect your larger diameter hoses it will not work. Maybe the manufacturer should just put BSP connections for their product heading to Europe. The picture attached is a standard 3/4 inch professional Geka connector, which should fit this product if it was intended for the European Market.

Very happy with the function, ideal for my sloping block. The only thing letting this product down is the constriction materials used for the legs. They are corroding away under the paint (not anodized) after 3 months of use. This makes it problematic then trying to adjust the leg length. This is the last thing I would have expected from a sprinkler.

Heavy duty. Great quality. Works as advertised. No leaks not even a drip. Easy to set up and adjust. Happy with purchase and would definitely buy again.

This work horse of a sprinkler gets the job done. I left on vacation in July during heat warnings and nothing died. I was concerned it would not be heavy duty enough to keep from falling over in a storm but it has done great. Right out of the box the legs easily telescoped for set up. I do wish it could go a little higher as it comes to my upper leg and I am 5' 2" with short legs lol. The distance it covers is incredible as I have a huge garden with lots of raised beds and I also needed to get my in ground potato patch. It can spin 360 degrees, but the water distribution is different than when you are using the easy metal clips to adjust the direction. It is limited ever so slightly by the size of the clips and it could be my user error that's messing that up maybe not the design. Adjustability is important in the garden. This may be more designed for a lawn to cover alot of territory, but it worked well and my plants survived. You cannot tell there is any plastic material because it is so sturdy. I had my eye on one of these for a long time and finally decided to invest in a more heavy duty sprinkler like this and that is well worth the money.
