Pretty sure these are magic earbuds now
I've had these a couple years now and here is what I have experienced with these earbuds. 1. They're the ONLY earbuds I haven't managed to lose yet. They have great visibility when you drop them and if they're still connected; you can hear the music loud enough to locate them. Why someone hasn't invented a whistle clapper for wireless earbuds is beyond me, but if you do, I'll buy two! 2. The little piece of fabric or whatever it is in the inside (idk the technical terms) does come off after awhile. I've had to reglue it. As it's just flimsy material and not like a metal one or anything. It will wear eventually. 3. They're durable. My right one has a hella crack in it and is STILL going no problem. 4. I'm hearing impaired and they offer excellent bass imo. 5. Remember I'm hearing impaired, but these are the only earbuds that when the music stops playing you can't hear much feedback in the silences. I can hear it in other ones, but not these. 6. I would recommend getting another set of the little plastic earbud thingies directly from JBL. I've used various universal ones, but they make the earbuds fit awkwardly in the case. So they can be used with other earbud mushy insert thingies, but I wouldn't recommend it. Just use the ones it comes with. Oh! I dropped one in the tub once and once it dried out; it was back to normal. Idk if they're meant to do that, or if I just lucked out- but for the money I was impressed. 7. Pretty decent battery life. I've had others that have a longer battery life, but they recharge super quickly and give you a pretty decent warning before they die like half an hour. You can probably get a good 4-6 hours straight out of them before they need a recharge. Overall. They're pretty impressive when you take the price and durability into account. I have four kids and my three littles are really hard on stuff so nothing lasts long around here yet two years later these earbuds are still going strong! Update: Gave another star cuz they fell out of my ear (I'm HARD on earbuds) and it cracked in half. I tried to put it back together to no avail and figured it was the end of their life.... Welp NO! SOMEHOW I just found it and it was put back together and it WORKS! SO yeah. Now I think the things are freaking magic.

Jbl by Harman are simply superior products...
I'm an owner of the jbl charge 3, jbl xtreme 2, jbl boombox, and jbl go 3... That being said this is my 1st pair of jbl earbuds/headphones... The sound quality definitely crossed over with these little kickers in these buds they definitely put out the volume, treble, and bass that you expect when purchasing a jbl product... The wireless is just a bonus. Now I do own powerbeats 3s the bass quality is probably better than these well let's be honest they're the best in the game... But that damn ear hook broke on me... So they're useless now 😂... I've worked out with these this evening and had absolutely no problems or setbacks with these... This is the type of quality you expect from a brand like this! 👍🏽 🔥 🔥 🔥

Great sound, okay battery, poor latency and microphone
The JBL Free X headphones are a rather good set of truly wireless Bluetooth headsets with a few glaring faults that hold them back from being the best. Strictly from a sound reproduction standpoint, they're superb for their price point and design. Tests from RTings.com demonstrate that they offer a very well-balanced profile, and I can back this up with my own experience. The lab tests suggest a bit of a lack in treble and a slight over-emphasis on bass, but I can't personally claim to notice either, though I'm not exactly a true audiophile. From my layman's perspective they sound great and don't seem overdone or underbaked on anything I've thrown at them (my tastes include metal, industrial, electronic, folk, orchestral, etc. so they've seen a lot). Serious audiophiles will probably find many faults in these, but then again serious audiophiles would also never stoop to using a $150 pair of headphones. Worse than the sound performance is the battery life of the buds, though it's not the worst. The buds allegedly carry a charge for around 4 hours of continuous listening, and while I've never actually run them down to empty I think that's a reasonable estimate. The battery case supposedly holds an additional 20 hours of charge, though I can't say I've ever used it all just from my own use. The maximum of 24 hours of listening time on a single (combined) charge is not bad, and I'm probably not going to use these for 4 consecutive hours required to drain the buds, but if you're looking for buds to use for 8 hours at the office or such these won't be great for your needs. The worst parts of these buds are their latency and their recording quality, but neither should come as a surprise given that they're built on Bluetooth 4.2. Having said that, they're apparently still sub-par even by the standards of truly wireless Bluetooth headphones (again, reference to RTings.com). The microphone on these is genuinely terrible; voices sound incredibly compressed, worse than the mic on my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S9+ since I'm sure someone will wonder), which isn't brilliant. However, if you're planning to just use these for listening, which most people probably will, this isn't a big deal. What is a big deal, however, is the latency. I can't give numbers from my own experience, but the lag is definitely noticeable, causing a major uncanny valley effect when watching videos. It's obviously fine for listening to music, podcasts, radio shows, etc, but for anything with a visual aspect it definitely has a detrimental effect on the experience. Overall, the JBL Free X headphones offer a great listening experience at a very reasonable price point. However, they're restricted in the kind of content they're suitable for due to the latency issues and they're terrible for creating audio for others to listen to. The 4 star rating is because my primary use case (listening to music or spoken background audio periodically when I'm away from my full-sized headphones) is exactly what these are good at. However, they do have noticeable flaws, and while they're good for my purposes others might find these issues dealbreaking.

Didn't last 5 weeks
I have cheaper ear buds that worked way better than these did (AND both of those sets still work!). My son gave these to me for fathers day. I typically only use one ear bud at a time unless cutting the grass. Unfortunately these did not work independently from one another, only the right ear bud- or both (now neither). In the beginning, they charged faster than my others and lasted A LOT longer. They never got loud enough for me to hear my audio books over my the lawn mower (even though my cheaper ones do). Playing music sounded great. I only used them a few times a week, but last week I noticed the charge didn't last long enough to mow. I put them back on the charger and as soon as they were full charge, or so I thought, it only lasted 30 or so minutes. Again I charged it (way longer than normal) and that night it only lasted about 20 minutes. The reason I thought it was charging is because it was only acknowledging the left ear bud. When I remove the left ear bud from the station it doesn't see the right one at all now. It's been on charge all day and it didn't last 5 minutes tonight. I will contact the seller and return to leave feedback. Right now- I wouldn't consider recommending these to anyone.

Great sound, but JBL needs better quality control
At first, I thought the sound quality was great for the price point and that the JBL Free X would be my new headphones for quite some time as to me they sound and feel just as good as Airpods. The earbuds fit well and provided a pretty good noise-canceling experience while not feeling cheap in the hands (except for the transparent cover that seems more durable than it feels), and the battery life was impressive as three days of average use barely drained the case to half charge. However, the JBL Free X is far from perfect. One recurring issue I had was random connectivity loss. The earbuds would not lose connection to the device but would start to chop up the audio forcing me to reset the earbuds completely just to fix the issues as disconnecting it from my devices did not fix the issue. Although there is no excuse for the loss of connectivity on my 2015 Macbook, my phone issue may be due to my phone itself so other devices may vary with this issue. Another issue I found was the hand-free calls. To put it simply, the sound quality for phone calls is just unacceptable. For some reason, all call audio is forced into the right earbud creating a poor sound quality that makes a 2005 Bluetooth seem better in comparison. Oh, and the "built-in mic" simply did not function but again that could have been an issue with my phone's drivers. But none of these issues compare to the main issue I had with the JBL Free X. After a week of regular use, the right earbud just stopped working effectively killing the headphones as the right earbud is responsible for connecting both earbuds to a device. From what I can tell the earbud is still charged and able to charge it just won't turn on and as of writing this the charging case does not recognize the right earbud so the issue somehow got worse. Overall I would say the JBL Free X is a gamble. It's a great sound and build quality for under $50, but the quality control makes it hard for me to risk replacing them for another pair that may vary well have the same issues as reading though other reviews the above mention issues seem to be common. If you are willing to take the risk then go for it, just think about grabbing the five-buck warranty at check-out.

A must buy
These earbuds are AWESOME. I deliver mail and I accidentally dropped mine outside the mail truck. Wound up trying the JBL true live earbuds and they were absolutely terrible. Returning them to buy this pair again. The other ones were so uncomfortable and had so many issues. But these worked great. Trust me and buy these kind before jbl true live. Good for workouts and if you walk a lot. Battery life is wonderful and never had a complaint about audio during phone calls.

very high quality ear buds
waited awhile to write a review due to the fact I wanted to really experience the quality and use of the buds. I use these exclusively for my music on my phone and pad. They hooked up great and sound quality is great. I expected JBL to be good quality and they did not disappoint. Only negative is after about an hour they fall out of my ear...they are very durable with great features, such as mike, phone answering, stereo...etc...

Manueli okuyun ugrasmayın ürün süper, tanrı jbl i korusun ve yuceltsin. Excellent wireless earbuds
JBL doesn't disappoint with these wireless earbuds. I got them on a great sale (69.99) and for the price, they are FANTASTIC. I had some concerns based on some reviews but I haven't had any problems with them in more than 7 months of daily use, nothing that couldn't be fixed before I left the house with them. Occasionally they don't pair with my phone (easily fixable by placing them back in the case and out again). Sometimes one of the ear buds disconnects, usually happens if I press on them by accident (again easily fixable by turning them both off and on or placing back in the case). I use these for walking and jogging, they are a little big for my ears even with the smallest silicone pads and I have to readjust if I'm jogging or doing HIIT but most earbuds do this for me. Calls come in through one ear piece only - not an issue for me personally, I use them for music mostly. Sound quality is excellent, great bass, I would pay 100$ for them without an issue but watch for sales.
