Easy to use and very efficient
This was real easy to put together. Took about 2 minutes to add the handle to the bars and install the paper guide. Does a ton of different folds. Can fold a stack of 50 papers in a few seconds, doing single page fold and stacks them nicely in the guide holder. i bought it cause I wanted to fold packs of 4 sheets together. The product says it can only do 3 max. I didn't care if i ran it and it broke, still would have saved me time. But it did not break. It held up real well. did 4 pages through the manual feeder - almost 500 4-page folds and it handled it really nicely. We didn't time it cause we had to do it manually through the manual slot, but it worked super nice. I would recommend this product., it works well and is built solid.

Over 6,000 letters folded and this gets FIVE stars
I do not understand all the negative reviews this has gotten. It took me about 15 minutes and about 30 pieces of paper to get it right and it has had one minor adjustment (see below) on the feed tray. Here are the facts of how it worked for me that I think will be most helpful for you: - Over 6,000 letters have been tri-folded with this machine and I have had less than 15 that mis-fed or crinkled. That is less than 0.25% loss. - Of those 6,000 letters, NOT ONE SINGLE LETTER has fallen to the ground from the catch tray. Maybe I just have mine positioned correctly and others haven't - I don't know. Now I usually have to flip a few around to the proper orientation because they flip when coming out, but most of time it stacks up to 40-45 (that is all I run at a time; 50 is the limit) just perfectly. - I cannot begin to tell you how much money this has saved me because of the hours of work it has saved. It has paid for itself many times over already. I had a friend who had one of these that he highly recommended, but I was very hesitant to buy this one because of the negative reviews I saw on here. I am telling you, if you take a few minutes to set it up properly, it works perfectly. I had to make one adjustment on the feed tray since I've had it because the nut had come loose. Since others had stripped that nut, I did not over-tighten and that is what caused it to come loose. I was just being too cautious, I guess. I tightened it a little more the second time. That is the only adjustment this machine has had. There is no way I could have mailed that many pieces without this machine. I am a one-man business and don't have hours to sit around folding letters. I am 100% satisfied with this machine. EDIT: One final note - I have only ever used 28# paper on it, so maybe that has something to do with it, too.

Good enough for a Mormon church library, good enough for you
After reading the reviews, I could not believe how easy this thing was to set up. I’m a Mormon and bought this to put in our church library so I don’t have to fold bulletins ever again. The device is surprisingly heavy, and it folds fast — faster than the photocopier can print programs, in fact. I set it up last weekend (contraband, but now the FM group is gone so whatever), but when I got to church the copier was out of paper. There is some sort of bizarre power struggle in our building over paper, so I ended up having to go buy paper at a local grocery store and hurry back to the church to print copies. With this machine, I was able to photocopy and tri-fold 75 programs in about 7 minutes, on the first time I ever used it, with zero stress and almost zero effort. Very happy with the purchase

Good Product. Time is money.
As with all negative reviews, hesitation ensues with a product ordered online. I was pleasantly surprised at the functioning capabilities of this machine. It is well worth it for mid to large scale projects. It definitely did not spit out a correct fold at first try which was a bit worrying- especially since the instructions stated that it would come set as a letter fold. After a few adjustments to make sure both the back and front were set to the same fold, it came out beautifully. The rack which catches the paper is almost completely useless. The three plastic bars which hold it in place clip together but do not stay held together by the screws provided. This is the cheap part of the machine, but fortunately can be overlooked since it is not a complete necessity. Even if you had to pick up the papers off the floor, this machine is still worth it. Probably will completely take it off and not use and simply put a bin underneath it. At the most I am satisfied customer for the price paid and free shipping with my Prime membership.

Wrong machine for this project.
I bought this earlier this year and have used it maybe 3 times. My original plan was to use it to fold packing slips for orders and I wanted them folded perfectly in the center. NOT A CHANCE.. Wrong machine for this project. It DESTROYS the paper, jams, throws them all over the floor (the paper tray IS useless). much time is spent collecting papers off of the floor and smoothing & re-folding the pieces that are salvageable that I might as well have folded them by hand in the first place. If you print individually addressed packing slips or letters..plan on printing them several times. If you are printing hundreds of the same item and don't mind losing about 5 - 10% due to the damage by the machine.. and this is IF everything is perfect in the feed tray.. AND you don't mind that the fold is very inconsistent, then maybe this will work for you. OR maybe you are an engineer and just like to tinker with very fickel machines, then by all means buy this thing. .. if the paper has been printed with a laser printer you better leave it under a pile of books for a few hours or it will destroy all of the paper. if you pull brand new paper from a box it does a beautiful job 98% of the time .. I waited too long to return this useless pile of junk so will be up for auction on eBay .. uggh

It performs as advertised. Seems sturdily built and easy to set up. Folds the sheets neatly and quickly. Has made my life so much more productive and easier. As mentioned on earlier reviews, be sure to feed the paper in squarely or it will crinkle them. I also found it better to feed 5 or so at a time or it would pull too many through and not completely fold them. I know it says 50 sheets can be placed in the hopper, but I think it works better with fewer. I have only used the single feed option of couple of times and as long as you feed it square, it's fine.

Our start-up needs to do one direct mailing marketing campaign every month (200+ letters a month). Previously we just folded the letters manually which was a pain given the increasing volume. It was such a life saver that we came across this machine. We got this machine at 1/3 of the price via Amazon Warehouse Deals. The stated condition was Used Acceptable but it looked brand new to me. The machine was repacked, but parts looked un-assembled. I just tested and it worked great. Awesome invention.

It folds fast (small capacity). The capacity is 50 sheets but if you really add 50 sheets some of the first sheets will get ripped and destroyed. So u gotta feed the machine more frequent, around 20-30 sheets at once depending on how thick ur letter is. The folding set up is kinda challenging to make it a perfect fold. But if you're not a perfectionist that require your letters folded at an exact ratio, it's a right machine.

Bought this for office use and when doing our mail outs we run about 750 through and it has handled it great. We received product quickly through free standard shipping offer.
