What is the difference between rf browser and rf spectrum?

RF browser mode: detects total amount RF radiation from all sources that have frequency bands between 0.01GHz to 10GHz. RF Spectrum Analyzer mode: detects RF radiation in specific range of frequency bands, such as, 50 to 65MHz, .... up to 2.5GHz

Why does the spectrum analyzer have a large gap in its frequency range between ~1ghz and 2.4ghz?

The RF Spectrum Analyzer is an extra bonus feature besides the RF detector up to 10Ghz on EMF-390. Due to the cost constraint, the RF Spectrum Analyzer mainly focused on popular RF bands.
