Brilliant
My time is valuable and Amazon does pay me to write reviews so I only spend the time if the product is exceptional or a failure. I agonized looking at bike locks for hours as I wanted something both compact & light but secure. Unfortunately you can't have both but this comes the closest. First off this weighs 1 lbs 7 oz (1.4 lbs) which is 34% lighter (12 ounces / .75 lbs) than the more well-known Foldylocks brand at 2.2 lbs (2 lbs 3 oz) although Foldylocks advertises itself as the lightest lock. (With so few of reviews on this product I'm guessing it's because this product is relatively a lot newer to the market.) The links are thick and heavy so a thief can't use bolt cutters to cut it (light you could with the compact cable locks.) Nothing is fullproof. It would take some more serious tools to quickly get through this thing. Second, the curved design provides a more useful shape in my opinion giving you a little more maximum effective length for the number of links considering the lock will form an oval when you lock your bike. This is big enough to lock the bike to most nearby poles, trees, or other objects and could easily lock 2 bikes together probably 3. Third, the mount is genius. It is very very secure by cinching the notched strap with a bolt using an allen wrench (provided). It locks into place. Just brilliant. I have a saddle bag so I could not mount it around the seat post facing back so you have a rear reflector. You could probably mount it on the seatpost facing forward but why? I just moved my water bottle holder to the other part of the frame and mounted it on the frame tube which is a better place anyway as you want to keep your center of gravity low so putting the weight lower than the seatpost is actually better. Three keys instead of two. No worrying about forgetting the combo or the combo lock malfunctioning. And at almost half the price of the Foldylocks lock. Brilliant.

Smooth operation both mechanical and the look of a quick smooth lock up.
The lock works great I wouldn't trust it outside overnight but if you're just a city commuter just running errands it's perfect it's smooth it looks good it's great

This is a terrific secondary lock. I would not recommend using it as a primary lock.
This is a terrific secondary lock, nice and small. I would not recommend using it as a primary lock for your bike. I think it could be cut through with bolt cutters if someone really tried. I use a kryptonite evolution mini 7 U lock through the rear triangle and wheel, then use this to lock the front wheel and frame. So that way the frame of the bike is locked twice. This way someone would have to make a minimum of three cuts with likely with an angle grinder to steal the bike. Two through the U lock, one through this lock. Hopefully that’s too much work and a thief would move to an easier target. The mounting mechanism is pretty decent. It rattled around a little bit at first, so I had to wrap gaffers tape around the lock in a few areas. But now it doesn't make a sound. One con of the mounting mechanism being mounted under the seat is that your seat has to be tall enough to accommodate it's height. If your seat is lower, you'll have to mount it elsewhere. Overall, it’s a very sleek setup. No cables to worry about!

Works, but locking mechanism and key seem low quality
I like round or curving folding locks. This lock is compact, heavy, looks sturdy. It works, I am using it, but it is less quality than I hoped, wish I maybe spend more money on another. The actual key and locking mechanism look cheap, feel cheap, like low low quality metal I worry about the key breaking off inside the lock, as the key is balky, mechanism not precision. Wouldn't recommend.

Great compact secondary lock
Excellent and compact lock but not for overnight use or risky places. If you need to quickly go to a supermarket or dash in/out, this comes highly recommended compared to the competition especially for the price. I saw someone complain that they can easily pick the lock due to the notches in the key, but what is the probability that the thief knows exactly what type of key and notches on the key? Just don't use if for a primary lock or somewhere you don't want it to be cut off using a grinder.

Very heavy
Works great once you get the hang of it

Compact, mounts under the seat, discourages thieves with cordless grinders.
This knock-off looks like the ceramic locks that are challenging for thieves with cordless grinders. But it is steel, and priced accordingly. So it's good for the low to mid range cost bike that you want to spare from thieves, but I would not count on it for a sought after pricey ride, like an e-bike, for example. Or use several. Slow the thieves down, and maybe conceal a camera.

Fits a Onewheel pint!
Bought this lock for my daughters Onewheel pint as she’s going off to college next year and true Onewheel will be her primary mode of campus transportation. There are not many locks that will fit these vehicles, and the other lock that does fit is well over a hundred dollars. I wouldn’t use any lock to lock up a OneWheel for extended periods of time or over night, for in well traveled locations, during class, library, or during meals, I think this lock will provide the protection needed.

Great Lock. I use it on my Electric Bike. Fits Well and compact. I had fears that when i attached the mounting strap the vibrations would allow it to come loose or slack. But so far so good. It holds tight . The lock its self is well made and easy to use
