Can a sink be described as “sexy”?? This one absolutely can! We just remodeled our kitchen and when it came to sink design, I wanted a single pan farmhouse sink, but hubby, who washes the dishes insists on having a sink full of soapy water. I compromised with this 60/40 Kraus stainless with a low dividing wall. It looks sleek and stylish... sexy really. I was slightly concerned that the square design might have tight corners that would be hard to keep clean but they are rounded just enough to not catch food in them and can be wiped clean easily. The bottom is angled toward the drains so water does not stand in the bottom. The drains are toward the back of the sink - again just a beautiful design. Stainless sinks are notoriously noisy... especially with water from the faucet. NOT THIS ONE! It is just as quiet as my old porcelain sink thanks to the insulation around the entire undercarriage. The sink comes with wire racks that have rubber feet (extra feet included) that prevent scratches on the bottom and matching stainless disc covers that sit slightly elevated above the holes so you can’t see the pipes. Love these! I love that you don’t have to look down into the garbage disposer! Water and small bits of debris washes down easily with them in place. It comes with a very nice strainer basket for the non-disposer side. My only complaint is that if you have a garbage disposer, (as if anyone buying this sink would not...) this sink doesn’t come with a ring that matches the sink that holds the disposal. Which I understand... every disposer is different. But, as long as you have the pretty discs in place, you can’t see the “inSinkerator” ring. This sink is big. I can lay a 9x13” casserole baking dish flat in the large side and let it soak. The low dividing wall is not only gorgeous, but you can lay cookie sheets or cutting boards in the sink and easily clean them. I’m able to use the interior racks as a dish drying rack for my clean pots & pans. As with all stainless, water spotting is an issue. This sink comes with a cool microfiber drying cloth for this purpose and it has a removable metal ring in it that lets you hang it up on a hook. I’ve found that after cleaning and drying, buffing the sink with a little lemon oil makes it shine like a new car and keeps water spots down for a few days till it’s time to reapply. Plus it smells amazing. I purchased the Kraus black mat Industrial faucet shown here, also from Amazon and it’s match made in heaven!!!

Love this sink! We just remodeled our kitchen and switxhed from a porcelain sink to this one. I spent a long time trying to find the right sink for us. I looked everywhere to find what we wanted. We had originally purchased a 60/40 split black stainless farmhouse apron style sink but then discovered that it would bot work in our kitchen. Lesson learned. My husband was adamant that we get a 60/40 split whixh was hard to find. We also had to stick to 32" or less. This one has that plus the low divide which gives the best of a split bowl and a single bowl. I can wash the big things since the divide is low. I had it mounted flush to the quartz countertop for a sleek look. The drains are nice and deep and the caps that come with it give it a great look. This so k is also super quiet for a stainless! It is very well made and sturdy. The included grates will help protect the bottom. Overall I just loce this sink! I added the over the sink drying rack myself. It rolls up and is not included. My husband picked it up at the store. Bottom line is if you are on the market for a stainless steel sink, this is one of the best if not the best choices!

The sink was easy to install. Super nice quality stainless. Deep and great size for sides. Looks high end for the price point!

Love almost everything about this sink. My only quibble is with the finish. I prefer brushed steel to polished, because it doesn't show water spots as easily. Otherwise, it's a fabulous sink. While having the same footprint as our old Kohler porcelain-on-cast iron overmount sink, it has much more usable space. This is largely due to the flat base and zero radius corners. Our Kohler was almost 10" deep, but had a more normal profile, with very rounded corners and walls that curved down into the base. It really is quite amazing how much larger the two basins in this one feel. My largest 12" frypans fit flat in the smaller basin with room to spare. As for construction, Kraus sinks are made with 16 gauge steel, compared to the thinner 18-20 gauge steel used by other sink makers. Even the high end sinks with big price tags aren't usually made with steel this thick. The sink arrived very well packed and was further protected from scratches by a soft flannel bag. The men who installed it (along with our granite counters) commented that it was a LOT heavier than other sinks they've installed. One of them walked over to the box, looked at it and said "16 gauge? No wonder it weighs a ton!" It's also a fairly quiet sink, with a decent amount of insulation. But it *is* a steel sink and if you're used to porcelain covered iron or steel, you'll notice that it's louder. All stainless sinks are louder than porcelain. Thanks to a suggestion by another reviewer "g" to test the drain level, we did have our installers raise the front edge of the sink to improve drainage and are glad we did. We used marine grade (rust-proof) stainless steel washers, stacked double high, to raise the front by ¼". With that, the sink drains almost perfectly. A little bit of water still remains in the channels, but not much. The sink comes with 2 drain baskets. One of them is wonderful, absolutely unique, but sadly, we couldn't use it with our plumbing. The dish racks that are included are very nice. We've kept the rack in the large basin, taking out the rack in the smaller one, where our garbage disposal is. We didn't want to be fighting the rack to rinse waste into the disposal. The rack in the large basin is nice for drying large frypans and tall items in an upright position. I simply lean them against the wall; the grid keeps them from sliding down. Sweet! We also bought (here on Amazon) an amazing faucet, the TF Brassworks High End Deck Mount in brushed nickel. I highly recommend it over other pre-rinse faucets. Read the reviews, you'll see why. It looks and works amazing with the new sink, like they were made for each other. So I was skeptical about this sink as it seemed too inexpensive compared to previous sinks I have bought, almost to good to be true. Previous to purchasing, I read every review that had been posted and ultimately want ahead based on those reviews and purchased this sink for my kitchen remodel. This was not my first remodel, in my previous house I had purchased a Franke sink which was almost three times the price of this Kraus. So far I have no regrets, but want to clarify some points form my experience so far: 1. This sink drains fine. If your floor is level and your countertop is level, and your granite installer installs the sink level to the countertop, there will be no issues. Maybe some purchasers had defective sinks that drained poorly, I don't know. Mine is fine based on everything being level. 2. All stainless steel sinks scratch. My previous Franke scratched just as much as this Kraus. The difference is this sink has a mirror like finish compared to most stainless sinks, so scratches will be more visible. If it bothers you, clean the whole thing a few times with some Barkeeper's Friend and it will give the sink a more soft brushed look that will hide any scratches that show up. I beat the crap out of this sink with All-Clad pans and such and it is holding up just fine. 3. The bottom grates are dumb and just get in the way. I wouldn't bother using them. 4. I get colored stains in this sink just as I did on my Franke. It happens, stainless isn't truly stainless. Barkeeper's Friend will also resolve this. 5. For what it's worth, this sink came shipped with a really nice large canvas-like bag to protect it during shipping. The bag is cool and useful so consider it a bonus.

Kitchen remodel 2020 After a ton of research and looking, we landed on this 60/40 sink. Our kitchen was updated from a Formica countertop with a porcelain drop in sink. The deep square bowls on this sink are awesome. Can easily fill stock pots and wash larger items without slipping dishwater all over the counters. The box came in damaged and the sink was very well packaged in styrofoam and a protective sheath. The accessories such as the wire grates and sink drains were a nice bonus. Installation went smoothly for our granite countertop installers. Plumbing was done by me and was a breeze. The drain assemblies were straight forward and offered a few different options for configuration. We chose to install our disposal on the 40 split side. Please be aware, this is a large sink with deep bowls, so under cabinet space my be compromised. Make sure to measure. My ONLY gripe... the drain strainer basket that came with the sink has rusted a on the lip after about a week.

This sink is perfect. It came well protected inside foam molds. The sink was inside a huge poly bag. The countertop installers even stated how nice the sink was. The hardware that came with the sink even had me second think adding a garbage disposer,(since the garbage disposer drain ring isn't as nice as these) I love the deep basket and the way the drains install. It makes them almost leak proof. The kitchen is 100% new, so the cabinets are perfectly level and we have perfect draining from the flat bottom of the sink. Other comments that say this sink doesn't drain right really need to check the level of their cabinet bases. That is the issue, not the sink bottom. We had it installed with a 1/8" countertop overhang so that you can't see the top lip of the sink. Overall this is cheaper, nicer and better finished than anything you would find at HomeDepot and Lowes. Plain and simple.

We just finished a full kitchen remodel and decided to invest in what we thought would be a high-quality, long-lasting sink. That was a huge mistake. This sink started scratching almost immediately with normal, careful use. In a brand-new kitchen, having a sink look worn and damaged this fast is beyond frustrating. A product at this price point should not look old after such a short time. Even worse, the sink does not drain properly at all. Water constantly pools in the bottom and around the drain, which makes it nearly impossible to keep clean. No matter how often we wipe it down, it always looks dirty because the water just sits there. Food residue and water spots are left behind every time. We spent a lot of money and time remodeling our entire kitchen, and this sink has been the biggest disappointment of the whole project. It feels cheaply made, poorly designed, and absolutely not worth the price. Such a shame for something that was supposed to be a centerpiece of our new kitchen. I regret buying this and would never recommend it.

When I say I spent hours trying to find the perfect sink, I meant it. I ordered 2 other sinks (Blanco) from Lowes before I decided to order this one . I couldn't decide if I wanted a single basin or go with a double which is what I have always had. Many of the single basin sinks just look huge and since I usually hand wash a few items daily I didn't want to be bothered to fill a huge basin for a few things. So I ordered 2 from Lowes and the shipping times weren't ideal, the 1st sink was too big, the 2nd one arrived damaged. Thats when I decided to try my luck with Amazon and hope to use my Prime for quick shipping. I came across this 60/40 low divide Kraus sink and thought it seemed like the perfect solution for wanting a single basin but without giving up the convenience of a double basin. The larger basin is big enough for me to fit my cookie sheet in - yay! And the low divide means that I can easily wash any other items like frying pans. We've had the sink installed for just over a week and I have no complaints so far. We also opted to buy the Kraus BST-1 stainless steel basket strainers to go with it because I love the idea of having the baskets. Equally happy with those too. The best part of having this new sink? My husband has insisted on doing the dishes ever since it was installed. I will certainly update this review should I change my opinion.

Its a big sink and is of very nice quality. I have to been using it for a month now, and the only issue I see is that the strainer covering the drain rusts a little, leaving orange marks at the edges. The sink is deep and washing large pots is easy, but cleaning the sink itself is a bit harder due to its depth that my previous sink.

This 32 inch sink remains my best Amazon purhase ever. I've used it extensively for over 2 years and it remains spotless. I had come across some criticisms regarding being too flat on the bottom result in difficulty rinsing and ugly scratches developing over time. Neither of those concerns reared themselves. Any superficial scratches that may have appeared were meaningless if at all perceptible. The bottom flatness has actually been a huge plus. All my dishes lay flat, no space is lost in the corners and the diagonal creases give it an outstanding contemporary feel. In addition, the half height 60/40 divider makes organizing and cleaning an absolute breeze. I know this will last me a life and even if it doesn't, I'll be being the exact same model again regardless of price.
