No. You need mole grips for that.

Is the big one suitable for oil filters on a daily basis.

It may work foil a car oil filter, but they are not specifically designed for this purpose. If I were going to be removing oil filters on a daily basis I would go for the proper tool for the job.

Can it be used for p-trap?

Not really. The 250 mm ones are mainly for 15mm, 22mm fittings. 28mm at a push. You would need the larger version, or ideally a pair of footprints. ( seriously. That is how they're known in the plumbing trade)
