After suffering from itchy scalp and dandruff for over 10 years, I’ve used many various forms of shampoos and conditioners. None really helped and only dried out my scalp, stripped them of any natural oils/nutrients. Usually use T Gel 2-in-1 but that alone was half the battle. After reading many reviews I decided to purchase this conditioner. Delivered and used today, it certainly made a difference when used in conjunction with T Gel. A small amount goes a long way and you can feel the tea tree and menthol work within 10 seconds, the intense tingling sensation was powerful but a delight on the scalp. (Wait the recommended time 3-5 minutes after massage). After a rinse and pat dry, my head feels refreshed and not too tight, no irritation or itching. Passing my hand through revealed almost little to no flakes at all. Hopefully my scalp will be 10/10 (for once!) within the 7 days as advertised. Also good to note I used a silicon scalp massager in the shower, just to loosen any flakes/stubborn patches.

Great condition that soothes the scalp, nourishing dry, flakey and sensitive scalps. Has a refreshing menthol cooling affect which can feel a little odd the first especially in a hot shower. Leave on for atleast 5 minutes for it to work its magic.

This isn't a bad product at all. I'll do an update when I've finished the bottle. So far though - not bad. Seems to work on my dry scaly eczema. Very thick product, which I prefer, and has very little smell. The worst thing about this though is the packaging. I mean, it's ridiculous. The plastic bottle is so thick, you'll struggle to get the product out. I've had to heat the bottle in hot water to get it out every time. Not something I'd expect at this price.

I had a terrible itchy scalp, I think it was a type of stress psoriasis as I didn't have dandruff. the doctor could do nothing fo me but this shampoo and conditioner really helped. anyone who has had an itchy scalp will be pleased to hear that there is some relief with this product. it took about 5 uses before I saw a huge difference. Yeaaa!

Seems to help with my itchy scalp, although it does make my hair greasier, so need to shampoo more often (every 2-3 days). As others have mentioned, the bottle is ridiculous. Not even a power lifter could squeeze any out, and even after removing the lid, the stuff is like blancmange to shake out. Bif you do ever get any out, add a little water, shake well, and leave for a few days. They could save 50% of plastic waste by making the bottle thinner, or dilute the product and make the bottle larger, or both.

This conditioner was recommended to me and has always been my go to between my kids and i who suffer from seborrheic dermatitis. We tend to get extremely dry and itchy scalps. The trick is to be generous with the conditioner and let it sit for a few minutes. I find that when I am not generous with the amount of conditioner, then my scalp suffers. It does not have an unpleasant or chemical scent like some medicated conditioners. It does tingle a little but not overpowering in comparison to other ones. It’s definitely been our favorite.

Update: I've been using this product for almost 6 weeks and I am so blessed to be able to have this product! The crusts on my scalp and flakes have continued to reduce and are barely there at all! This has given me a way to treat my dandruff daily with a moisturizing curl-safe product while also cutting down on shampoo. So pleased! Also the method of storing upside down and removing the cap to dispense has been so easy and works just fine. Original review: I have a severe form of dandruff called seborrheic dermatitis. Due to having very dry, curly hair I quit shampooing my hair regularly and use this conditioner instead. It's helping my seborrheic dermatitis a lot, it took a while but after two and a half weeks my flakes are hugely reduced and the crust on my scalp is almost totally gone. The bottle is slightly squeezable however the product is so thick it's hard to squeeze out as others have said. I store it upside down which is easy to do due to the shape of the bottle, and when I use it I simply unscrew the cap and squeeze some into my hand. It's very easy to do this way and I don't have to cut the bottle open or anything, which I was afraid I'd have to do. It's hard to find dandruff conditioners, especially ones that comply with Curly Girl Method like this one does, so I'm very grateful for it and have always thought derma e makes great products. Just glad it's way easier to use than I anticipated from the reviews.

It does act a bit like a shampoo in how it cleans and removes oil. But a very mild shampoo. It feels refreshing on the scalp for sure. I have less dandruff flakes after using it personally, less itch, and I alternative between this and a shampoo every second day. I would not use it with a shampoo on the same day. It has some menthol in it which you can feel immediately. I was not a big for of this feeling+scent at first but happy with it now. The bottle is stiff and not always easy to get the product out - must leave upside down.
