Very sturdy and well made. The easy push buttons on the side make it simple to fold away or extend. Im very pleased to finally be able to reach my velux widows and to be able to open and close them with ease.

Excellent and very sturdy compared to a previous pole

The pole is sturdy and the mechanism for extension well designed. It has different length settings that lock in place so it means the length of the pole is securely fixed when in use. Using the pole correctly requires positioning the hook at 90 degrees to the Velux window bar, and in our case, the bar is about 10 metres from floor level. The bar needs to be pull down to release the catch which locks the window. Once the catch is released then opening the window is a case of pulling down the pane on the bar. Take care not to use the small hook which is for pulling down and pushing up the blind to the window. The clearance for the small hook in our case is quite tight, as the sloping Velux is fitted close to the ceiling. However, the ease is not reversible. I am still unable to find a way of using the pole to close and lock the window again after opening. I can use the pole to push the glass pane to the 'closed' position, anchoring on the bar, but then the bar needs to be pushed upwards (to make the bar tilt 90 degrees) in order to lock the window in place. If there is a way to tilt the bar into lock position easily, that would have been perfect. As it is, I am leaving the window 'closed' but not locked; locking will require climbing a ladder to swing the bar from a floor-facing angle to a wall-facing angle.

Opening and closing our very high Velux windows used to involve having to climb up a ladder. So it never got done. Bought this to make opening and closing them much easier and it's now something that gets done in seconds. On hot days our living room is now cool and pleasant to be in and no need to have a fan on. Great purchase!

Fell apart fairly quickly. One of the bearings and spring popped out so I couldnt lock the last section of the pole, tried taping it but no joy. Also the head fell off. Going to have to find something else.

Konnte den Artikel heute erst ausprobieren, da wir heute erst die neuen Dachfenster bekommen haben. Es ist zuerst etwas umständlich, den korrekten Sitz des Hebels am Fenster zu finden, das liegt aber am Griff vom Fenster selbst. Hier hätte der Hersteller etwas nachdenken können. Der Artikel selbst ist sehr stabil und gut zu handhaben. Gute Verarbeitung und die Länge der Teleskopstange ist perfekt. Das Fenster ging nach einigem Probieren sehr leicht auf und zu. Wir sind glücklich über diese Lösung. Ansonsten hätten wir jedes Mal eine Leiter unter das Fenster stellen müssen zum Bedienen. Sehr schnelle Lieferung, gerne wieder.
