Plantronics Bluetooth USB Adapter (BT300-MOC)

My original dongle broke because I was a bit lazy and kept it in my laptop's USB port when I wasn't using the headset including while traveling and it received a death blow along the way. This one worked perfectly with my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset which is use on my company network over MS Office Communicator and MS Office Live Meeting. It also works fine on my personal computer with Skype. I did go online to find out how to pair the new dongle with my headset and it was easy peasy. Unreserved recommendation.

I bought this for use with Skype for Business after using other Bluetooth nibs that wouldn't work with Skype. It is unfortunate that you have to pay this much for these things, but it is what it is. This unit is specifically engineered to work for Skype. If that is what you want to do, either buy this or go look at Microsoft's Web site to verify what IS supported.

As with all negative reviews, remember that companies do have occasional manufacturing defects. This doesn't mean ALL of these headsets are bad, just the one I bought. In general, I have found Plantronics to produce some of the finest quality audio products on the market. They last a long time and are worth the extra money. I have recommended and used them both personally and professionally with no disappointment. Accessories: The over-ear hook accessory seemed very flimsy and cheap which is unusual in Plantronics equipment. The headset came with little jelly ear things in various sizes which my ear did not like very much--they were itchy. The charger is a standard wall USB charger (one-piece, so no free USB cable). Out of the box, the audio had a crackle to it which I attributed to Bluetooth interference (I live in an apartment building), but keep in mind I've used the professional grade wireless headsets made by Plantronics and have rarely seen interference but those are multi-channel radio and not Bluetooth. After about a week or so of use the device refused to be discovered by my PC, so I tried to connect to my phone and it also did not work despite no other signs that the device was defective--the lights all flash as expected and the audio prompts are issued normally. It was within the return period, so I returned the device. Also, the stock image is incorrect. This is a small white standard looking single-ear bluetooth headset with optional over-ear hook. Search for the Marquee M155 on Google for some good pics.

This was the perfect solution for my "work" laptop that doesn't have Bluetooth installed. I can't add it b-cuz I'm not allowed to alter the laptop with any additional apps. With the Shelter in Place order, I was trying to use a wire connected headset to talk with customers, but it was a hassle. Someone told me about the "dongle adapter", I just had to get one that was compatible with the Plantronics Legend earpiece I already had...I got it, plugged it in, changed a few settings on my laptop and it works great. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars overall is because it doesn't come with the technical instructions telling you how to set up Windows to work with it, and that it's tricky to get the Bluetooth on my laptop to work if the headset is already connected to my iPhone. I have to make sure to disconnect from my iPhone before pairing with my laptop.

I purchased this for work due to telecommuting. I have the plantronics headset that connects to my phone. My employer has set up a telephone system through the computer. I needed a way to connect my headset to the computer. This came in handy. It is extremely easy to set up and use.

Was delivered in 1 day for normal shipping. Fantastic ! I bought this to use with my M70 Plantronics Bluetooth headset, so I can use the headset on my Windows 10 Skype for Business. Works like a charm.

I lost the one that worked with the headphone so I ordered this as a replacement. Was very easy to sync and works great

I already had the Legend headset for my phone, so I bought the USB adapter for Skype meetings from home. The audio quality is absolutely awful compared to a BT connection to my phone. Tried on several occasions, checked network quality in Skype—no luck. Sorry to say, this is unusable junk. I bought a cheap wired headset in place of this, and the sound is 10x better. Save your money.
