We got 3D picture is this frame going to work for it

Can not answer. My box is 9 x 9 with a 4.5 x 4.5 opening.

If I have a 23.4 x 23.4 inches poster could I opt to not use the cream mount , cut .4 inches off the poster and have it fit?

Hello, Frame you are asking for is 23 x 23 cm not inches. Mat is moveable but still your picture won't fit.
