Digital Design, 6/e [Paperback] M. Morris Mano

Well written book, not difficult to read especially if you have mathematics background. Good for self study. However, the book has a number of misprints, especially the Indian edition. You don't have to be an electrical engineer to understand the material.

It's like 80% off the actual price for the U.S edition, exact same context. A pretty good reference for EE CE students.

If you have to take this course, they’ll follow this book for the most part, some sections may be skippable but it depends on your professor.

The book is in a good quality and the shipping was fast, and the price was right.

It even had the color blue for an Intl Ed.! Not just black and white. The pages hold up well for their thinness.

I approached this book just to supplement another one on logic design and this book did the trick. Then I wanted to learn vhdl, not verilog, and I revisited this book and was immediately shut out unable to compile simple programs. After learning very thoroughly vhdl from other resources I came back to this book to learn verilog and it was quite easy and highly recommendable. I was surprised to find no errors or misprints whatsoever. I then decided to look at the vhdl programs and I can see why before I wasn’t able to learn. I’ve only looked at about 1 dozen or so listings and have found at least 50 errors ranging from easily fixable pedantic syntax to more serious type mismatch compilation errors (and eveything else in between). I don’t thing it’s the particular compiler either (I’ve used 2002 and 2008). I’m now realizing the title of the book to be “an outstanding book on digital logic design with verilog, and we decided to put in vhdl design files anyways even though we didn’t compile a single one and don’t even care because you’ll probably agree that vhdl is useless”. That should be the title. Hope that helps

Good for learning logic, but this version of the book does not contain any lab experiments that are necessary for a Digital Logic class.

It's a good understanding a subject book

In this book , everything is given on a correct pattern and it's very easy to understand and mostly preferred for GATE exam... overall a 9/10 book . Recommended for all ECE/EE/CS students..

i read this and r p jain book ,this book is best book for gate and basic concept .even though some topyics are not found for gate but those found is very well explain

A little advanced book for DSP, meant for masters degree. Lots of examples and practice problems make the concept clear. Must work really hard to get comfortable with the book, there's a lot of math. Quality of paper and binding is pretty good
