I had the TC1200 from a few years ago and it never overheated so I went with the TC1200 Pro, and I'm glad I did. The TC1200 Pro does get warm, but you can still hold it. I suppose these days it's just the nature of the beast that tactical flashlights get warm after several minutes. I wish these had a USB charging port, but it's not a deal breaker. Also the clip is strictly meant for pocket carry only.. it would've been nice to have a dual directional clip so you can clip it to a hat visor and use it hands free. The other feature I like, is you can use the rechargeable battery, or 3 AAA alkaline batteries. The 1Tac is not as expensive as the other 2 brands I tried and you couldn't focus the beam. It did arrive 2 days later than originally promised.
