Super-strong; includes non-magnetic screws for easy attachment
These are very, very strong—as in you’ll probably have difficulty separating them, even with the included spacers. I found it easiest to slide one magnet in the stack just barely over the edge of a table, then push down with a piece of wood—and be ready to pull the rest of the magnets away quickly once it separates! I put a plastic bucket underneath to catch the loose magnet. They are also very brittle, so be careful not to let them drop on hard surfaces, and don’t slam items onto them or they could crack. Keep the rest of the stack far away (or back in the package) while you install each magnet, so they don’t reattach unexpectedly—it’s much harder to separate them once you’ve removed the spacers. Keep your electronics FAR AWAY from these, as well as any old-style tape media. What this magnet could do to an iPhone would not be pretty! The seller very nicely includes magnetism-resistant screws, which makes installation a lot easier. I installed these under a kitchen shelf; they easily hold my grater, mixing spoon, poultry shears, chef’s knife, a stack of Ball jar lids, etc. Don’t forget to TEST anything you want to hold magnetically with a magnet before ordering these—in my case, one of the pan lids I was considering attaching turned out to be stainless steel and unresponsive to magnets, even though the pan itself stuck on just fine.

Very strong magnets make for a great shot-ski!
Let me start this review by saying that I bought these for a very unconventional purpose and they worked great! I've been trying to make a shot-ski for years, but every time I try I run into problems. Most glues deteriorate and look tacky, besides the fact that you can never remove the glasses from the ski to clean them. So, gluing shot glasses to a ski is less than ideal. Some bars use rubber gaskets to fasten the shot glasses to the ski, but I had trouble figuring out an easy way to fasten the gaskets to the skis firmly enough to hold the shot glasses. I also didn't want to spend a ton of money figuring out a good looking way to do it. Yet another method some people use is to drill big holes in the ski so the shot glasses can sit directly through the ski. I don't like this method because I've seen glasses fall out and break, plus have you tried drilling through a ski? They have metal inside of them and to make a hole big enough for a shot glass would require tools that I do not have! SO, being the innovative "young" partier that I am, I purchased these magnets along with some stainless steel 2 oz condiment cups! Most metal shot glasses have too much nickel in them and will not stick to magnets, so you need to be careful about the cups you buy. Make sure they are magnetic! It has worked great so far! The magnets are super strong and hold the glasses down very firmly. You can turn the whole ski upside down and shake it around and the glasses don't even budge. You can also easily remove the glasses to clean them. PLUS, it looks super clean and professional! Why has nobody thought of this sooner?

Great. Very Strong. Be Careful. I Love Them.
If you've never purchased Neodymium magnets, you're in for a nice surprise if you're looking for a very, very strong magnet. Read the cautionary notes that accompany your purchase. Great product. Best magnet I've EVER purchased. BUT BE CAREFUL. I wear gloves when handling them. If you have two separate magnets in one hand, and one slips because it's attracted to the other, that thing is going to go FLYING and they'll SLAM together really, really hard. And if you have a speck of skin between them, you're going to regret it. It JUST happened to me again. And when those magnets slam together, IT IS VERY PAINFUL! If it does happen, you have to remember that when it snags a piece of your skin it DOES NOT LET GO. It pinches VERY HARD and holds your skin between the magnets. And you cannot separate them because one of your hands is tied up with the magnets. The ONLY way is to pull your finger out from the magnets, and let me tell you... THAT HURTS! And it leaves a mark. And the pain stays with you for a bit. I will buy more of the magnets because they're so strong. You put a couple together, and they're even stronger. It really is amazing how strong they are. I try to remember to wear gloves, because if they do slam together and catch a little piece of your skin, it's a GIANT REMINDER that you should have worn gloves.

Wow - these are so powerful
I wanted some magnetics to hold my tools in my utility room, so I picked these since there were 12 of them and they have a countersunk hole and screws so that you can mount them on a wall and the screws will be flush and not interfere with holding the tools. They turned out to be much more powerful than I ever expected. Watch the video I posted of a magnet jumping up from nearly 2 inches away. They are so powerful, they are very hard to separate. However, this makes them work great for holding any of the tools that I put on them. I actually didn’t have to use the screws to mount them since I have an air handler in the utility room that provided a large metal surface that I could just place the magnets on and then add the tools. It was that easy and works great. These have a metalized non-corrosive surface plating that is nice, but I did notice a couple of imperfections in the plating that created a tiny sharp point that I felt a prick from while the magnets were squeezing my fingers very hard during separation. There as so powerful you have to be very careful to keep them from pinching your fingers. Overall, I am very pleased with these magnets.

Strong magnet, nice countersink. Quite pleased.
Powerful magnets. With magnetic stainless steel shot glasses (yes, some types of stainless are magnetic) great for a home made Shot Ski. Also good to secure a shed door open in the wind without latches (add a steel plate to the other surface).

Magnets are great
These magnets are strong as expected. Pack of 12 magnets as expected. Ability to attached via screws is hand y in certain instances.

I bought these after getting a previous set of insanely strong ones which turned out to be overkill for my intended purpose. I am attaching these to a beach sand scoop for metal detecting, and the first ones were so strong that I would have needed to carry tools to get any coins off them. As I quickly discovered, tools were also required to take the metal 'keepers' off them...finger strength alone wouldn't do it, even when trying to slide them off sideways as directed in the instructions. I should have paid more attention to the specs before I bought them. These ones are the perfect strength, and also have a complete metal covering over the magnet itself, unlike the others which had the magnet visible and inset into what looked like a plastic layer in between it and the outer covering; in other words, these magnets have a completely smooth exterior that is easier to wipe the sand from. But make no mistake: they are PLENTY strong. I had one in my hand when I ventured too close to another on the table, and it jumped up and pinched my palm while connecting to the one in my hand. I put two more too close together on a towel and they slammed into each other, cracking the outer chrome plating on one. Very happy with these magnets.

Does the job. Quiet strong using them as exterior furniture magnets.

7 of the magnets held up a 4x4 3/8" plywood piece of plywood that had a lot of rope as a dart board guard and the board. No problems. If maybe 40 lb strength, I would not get UT down. Great products.

Ordered these for a special project. Be very careful when handling them, they’re very strong. One cracked the coating because they snapped back together and cut my finger open. Otherwise, very satisfied with the product.
