I've used this for years. It does what it's meant to do.

I refuse to go gray, so I am willing to take on the task of keeping my hair and especially roots colored. In an effort to keep my coloring down to every 6 weeks, I use Clairol Root Touch-up at the 4 week mark. I have been using this product for over 10 years, and it is the best on the market. I have tried sprays, powders, and other similar 'touch-up' application products, but have found this to be the most consistent in quality, consistency, color, and results. I am able to apply the color to the har around my face as well as my part, with some even left for the underneath of my scalp for when I wear a ponytail. This product matches my regular color (different brand) the best. Overall, great product that I will come back to over and over again.

I've been using these for a couple of years now and I've saved a lot of money by not paying salon prices. I also love that I can do it any time whenever I feel that the roots are getting unsightly without worrying about whether or not I can get an appointment in time to be ready for something. At first I was nervous about it looking wrong or damaging my hair or something but it is very user-friendly. The kit comes with everything you need and the amount of product is enough for most jobs. I am somewhat sensitive to chemicals but have not had a bad reaction. I have used a few different blonde shades and have never felt like it didn't blend with my existing color. Just to make sure I use the little brush provided and comb it outward past the root touch-up area and leave it on for 15-20 min instead of 10 and although it makes my hair a little bit dry, a good conditioning after makes it soft and shiny.

I use this product in between my regular color treatments. It works great. However, I have noticed a change in the "instructions" that may be confusing for new users of this product. It says to mix, apply, and dry... but there is an important step missing between "apply" and "dry"... the hair needs to be rinsed before drying.... and if a person reads the directions thoroughly, it DOES say that. But at first glance it may seem as if rinsing isn't necessary. I have been using this product for years, and today I glanced at the directions and noticed it didn't say to rinse your hair. I always rinse the product from my hair before drying. thought I'd share. Hope it helps someone.

I always have to search amazon for my root touch up since I can never find light blondes in a store near me. This is a wonderful and easy to use product. I have been using it for years and the color match is very impressive. It allows me to wait between all over color jobs and save money.

I have used this particular shade and product for over a year and the ones I bought from this seller are darker. I wonder if the box is labeled incorrectly. It is more of a medium/dark blonde and not light at all. However, it did cover roots well.
