EGR valve for VW T5.1 transporter - worked a treat
The ERG valve came boxed and sealed as it should and delivered next day. Perfect condition and exactly the same as the OEM part but with the VW logo ground off the casting so as not to offend VW. Fitted in an hour and a half and no need to adapt the part into the ecu as it was exactly the same part as the one I took off. Saved me a pile of cash.

T5.1 EGR CAAC
Time will tell how this one lasts, however relatively quick delivery and easy to fit compared to the pain of taking the old one off! Replacing a garage fitted non branded one that lasted 15k miles.

Appears identical to the old one. Saved a fortune replacing it myself
Took me about 1.5hrs to swap this for the old one which had been throwing up P0401 insufficient flow errors for a couple of years. VW T5.1 2013 2.0l model. My local mechanic was wanting £700 to replace the EGR, I did it myself for the price of this EGR plus some long torx bits. It seems to work perfectly although I can see it's only closing to 98.5% which presumably is the reason you should adapt the new EGR to the engine so it can learn the full range. I'll keep an eye on it and see if it re-learns by itself. Watch the Youtube videos to see the tips. But best advise is to undo the 2 x 12mm nuts which join the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold and leave that pipe attached to the egr (and swap over when you are on the work bench). Undo the 2 pipes that attach to the top nearside of the EGR then undo the 4 x T30 bolts. Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting to swap. The old one was clogged solid. I did have a go at cleaning it but it's a long messy job. Better to just fit this new one.

Exactly the same as factory fitted unit without VAG stamp
Been having issues with EM light coming on, same fault every time (P0401) T5.1 2.0 2015 with CAAB engine. Had considered taking EGR valve off and cleaning it but thought that would be something that would only postpone the issue. Priced up a new one at the usual selection of motorfactors and found this here on Amazon for a lot less than the national motorfactors that supply for European vehicles (not name dropping!) Did my due diligence comparing and cross referencing part numbers and this is the same (Valeo) as what was fitted to my bus. Arrived next day via Prime, fitted today in a couple of hours. (Handy Youtube video available if you look hard enough) and all appears OK Old one appears proper blocked and the vacuum actuator lever is seized.

Same manufacturer as original.
Replaced the EGR on my 102hp Euro 5 T6, part is identical to the original VW badges Valero part except the new one has the VW marking ground off on the valve body! Bit fiddly to replace but couldn’t be happier with the value, watched YouTube videos to know what to do. Took the old one off in the evening, checked the part numbers and ordered the new one, was delivered the following afternoon. Probably took about 3 hours time in total.

EGR replacement
Like for line replacement for the genuine VW unit. Swapped out with original EGR unit. No issues or faults after. This is the genuine part without the VW stamp and price.
