I was especially happy with the hulless oat groats. Just do a search with "problems with modern wheat" and you will be quite surprised, but Wikipedia is useless with its ties to industry. I use the OAP (oxygen absorbing packets) with the grains I also use them when sprouting the grain to increase the health benefits and eliminate the anti-nutrients. I keep the sprouted grain in mason jars and seal it with the Food Saver otherwise sprouted grains will quickly grow mold or fungi. I realize that's overkill, but it greatly extends the life of the OAPs. It's the larger containers that have more oxygen that use up the packets. I split the grains in smaller containers as soon as I can.. I did make a big mistake by storing the unused OAPs in one of those food saver bags and they don't hold their seals. Now I put them in a quart mason jar again using the Food Saver. I always soak the lids in hot water right before I use them giving me a better chance of a good seal. They work very well, but keep in mind that you have to store oxysorb packets in a glass jar with a good canning lid. These work at all times, and they must be stored in an airtight container. I have found out that the thin plastic bag deli meats come in are flimsy and your oxysorb packets will expire rapidly. (They get hard).
