Ohuhu Alcohol Markers 100 Chisel & Fine Art Set for Drawing Sketching

Amazing high quality markers at a fraction of the price you’ll pay from other brands. Lots of colours that are accurate to the number. No drying out and very durable. Good to blend. The chisel tip takes some practice, but lets you get lots of different styles and designs. The bag is really helpful and keeps everything organised. I love these pens!

I don’t have much to compare these with as I have not used alcohol markers before, as other brands are very expensive and watercolours are my go to medium usually anyway. But I took a punt on these as I needed something brighter and they didn’t break the bank. I was not expecting much, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. They seem to flow nicely and smoothly on paper and they leave minimal lines. I am sure someone with more experience than me could get rid of lines completely. As per the video do not go by the cap colours as they are so different and many much darker than you would expect. The ink seems to dry quite quickly and layering seems to work ok for me but I’ve only done one illustration so far so can’t say much more. I tried the clear one which I assume is to help with blending but it didn’t seem to do anything, but again that could be my lack of experience. Overall I am happy with the results and experience so far and for a beginner to alcohol markers I am more than happy to recommend them.

These are a set of alcohol markers. Purchased as a birthday present for coursework for teen. Wrong item received (160 Marker set, actually received 159 pens) from Amazon. Ohuhu (USA) arranged, (via Amazon UK) for 200 Marker to be sent and advised us to keep first set in view of imminent birthday! I didnt think this would happen(... mybad!) But within 2 days 200 Marker set was delivered via Amazon. V happy teenager (and siblings, who were given the 160 set). So... customer service AAAAAA**** + & + ... Amazon and Ohuhu are a great combination. Also impressed by Ohuhu's accompaying leaflet with the Markers, offering replacement for any dried up/missing pens.Storage: sturdy bag, well suited for protecting pens. Can lay it on its side for storage(to keep both nibs of marker moist) or use handle/shoulder strap to carry about.Markers: Swatches done. So all pens (360ish) opened & tested. All fine. 200 pen set same as 160, but xtra colours.Pens are comfortable to hold. Grey ring around pen body, above cap indicates point nib. Colour numbers printed on both cap tops. Swatch cards with colour numbers and names printed on (tho ^) Colours of tops may not always b accurate but teen advises swatch on paper u intend to colour on is the right way to go^ :))Teens remarks whilst doing swatches 'ahhhh', 'ooooh' n 'pretty... ' if this helps any1? :))Both sets are dual ended: fine tip & chisel... (not brush, though i think Ohuhu do have a brush set).Teen chose these markers after watching utube comparisons and video of Artist Lindsey at 'Frugal Crafter' (on utube) teen agrees with Frugal Crafter's assessment/opinions but PLEASE NOTE teen has limited knowledge of personal, continued use of more expensive marker brands(Frugal Crafter does tho.) Teens teacher however was v impressed with colour range/application/blending ability & vibrancy of Ohuhu's markers and agreed that the price was v v reasonable* for the quality they appear to be at present, in their new condition.(*family put together for 200 set after looking at many others). Pens long term use is untested by us, personally(March 2021 purchase)but is discussed in Frugal Crafters Utube vid where she has asked/been advised Ohuhu is looking to add refils/nibs/individual pen purchases to their range in the future. This video also states Nibs of pens ArE reversable...i.e take out n turn around ... though i've not had to do this/seen this demonstrated.Teen is v happy, producing v vibrant artwork. Siblings are using markers for colouring and they are proving to be sturdy. Teen/siblings are interacting amicably as elder shows youngters colouring techniques etc with blending pen included in both sets.V pleased with purchase and service. Service not impacted at all by company not being based in UK. YES, we did receive 160 Markers free because of inconvenience and iminent birthday date, we are independant buyers. We did pay for 200 Marker set and feel that, should there be any problem with the product we would definitely not hesitate to approach Ohuhu to ask for help/replacement of any component.

Excellent for the price. 4.5 Stars.The pens were very juicy and bright. None arrived dry (which has been a problem with some single Copics I've ordered recently). I would have liked a few more purples, so I'd suggest going for a bigger set if this is an issue for you (in hind sight, I probably should have bought the 100). I bought it as a backup set to take to work so I could colour on my lunch breaks, and its been great. The fact that it comes in a little zippy case is good. The colours blend really well and the range is quite good (aside from my comment about purples). It came with swatch cards, which was useful (as you have to buy this separately with a premium brand like Copic). I really appreciated the handy plastic backing sheet it comes with, to prevent bleed through onto other pages. I also found the fine nibs really good for colouring in the detailed sections of my mandala colouring book. The chisel nib is fine (although not really using it much). If you prefer a brush nib, try the Honolulu line instead.The main downside for me is that you can't keep the pens in order within the case. They also came all jumbled up, and I spent some time roughly sorting them into colour families within the case first. If this was a much bigger set or my main set this would bother me, and I'd need to find another storage solution. Its a fairly small quibble for the quality of the pens at this price.I'd recommend for anyone wanting to colour with alcohol markers, definitely beginner-friendly prices but I think more experienced colourists would also enjoy using them.

What a bag full of colour! These Ohuhu Alcohol Markers in 320 colours is quite a comprehensive set of markers in various colours and shade that won't break the bank whilst you experiment or colour. I found the oval shaped barrel comfortable to hold and the pens work really well. I have marked the broad end as I find it tiresome to look at small images on the barrels - not a criticism of the makers, just my impetuosity.I coloured the charts and found 2 were missing, but customer service sorted me out - they could not be more proactive or helpful for genuine concerns.The bag is strong enough to hold the weight of all the markers, and they are heavy together. I sorted them into the colour batches on the colour charts which made sense to me.Overall, yes I would recommend this set

Fantastic pens they are very smooth to draw with and blend very well. They also last a very long time and still work after quite a few years. The colours are very diverse.

I wish I'd bought them earlier!These pens are a game changer for any artist or illustrator. I spent a lot of time looking into markers before buying any and I had a budget. So ohuhu were the perfect mid range brand that allowed affordability and quality.I've used them a lot since buying them and can't speak highly enough of them. The only thing I wish I did was buy a bigger pack.There are so many colours in this pack that allow me to create vibrant illustrations that look extremely professional. They also take pencils well over the top if you want to add some finer details to your work.Finally, they blend beautifully allowing for stunning transitions between colours.If you are looking to get into alcohol markers you needn't look further that these.

Ho acquistato questo set Ohuhu da 120 pennarelli indelebili all’alcol, con doppia punta (evidenziatore e punta fine), come regalo per la mia bambina di 6 anni. Anche se il prodotto è pensato principalmente per ragazzi più grandi o adulti, si è rivelato comunque un acquisto riuscito, ovviamente utilizzandoli sotto supervisione.La spedizione e l’imballaggio sono stati ottimi. I pennarelli arrivano ordinatamente sistemati in una borsetta nera con manico e tracolla, pratica sia per il trasporto che per tenerli in ordine.I colori sono molto belli, brillanti e ben pigmentati. La doppia punta li rende versatili: la punta larga è ideale per riempire grandi superfici, mentre quella fine è perfetta per i dettagli. Utilizzati accostando più tonalità, permettono di creare sfumature e ombre con un effetto davvero piacevole.È importante sapere che vanno usati su libri o cartoncini spessi, perché su fogli normali l’inchiostro tende a “passare”. A questo proposito, nella confezione è incluso anche un foglio di plastica trasparente, molto utile per proteggere i fogli sottostanti.Li avevo scelti anche perché ricaricabili, aspetto sicuramente positivo, anche se controllando in seguito sul sito ho notato che le ricariche non sono particolarmente economiche. Al momento, però, questo non incide sulla mia soddisfazione complessiva.Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatta della scelta e credo che in futuro acquisterò altri pennarelli della stessa marca: Ohuhu offre una gamma davvero ampia di colori e diverse tipologie di punte, adatte a vari utilizzi creativi.
