Despite that fact, it came on time. I was very impressed! Review: Good Quality - The book was good quality. It was shipped in a thin plastic bag and bent a little during shipping. Would prefer for it to be in a box.

Good for school
Book is helpful for my online course. Just wish it was cheaper given its a digital rental.

Overpriced book, but a comprehensive introduction
As a student required to purchase this book for a class, I was dismayed at the high price tag for a paperback textbook ($85 pre-tax). The publishers have also made the electronic version of the book so expensive and frustrating to use that I opted to pay just a bit more for this paperback version. My copy of this book also arrived with ink that was missing or smudged on a few of the pages. In terms of content, this book does seem to offer a comprehensive introduction to program evaluation. It would probably be useful to have as a reference for someone practicing as an evaluator. However, for social scientists, it's worth knowing that Rossi et al. present an approach to evaluation that leans toward positivism and aims to be highly "objective." I personally would have preferred a less positivist approach to this topic. In the end, I am unsure whether I'll keep this as a reference because I found the text itself to be pretty densely written.
