AC Infinity CLOUDPLATE T2, Rack Mount Fan 1U, Top Exhaust Airflow

Exactly what I needed. Good quality. Excellent product

What I loved: The build quality is fantastic — solid metal chassis, clean design, and it looks right at home in a proper rack setup. The airflow is excellent, and it really does help pull hot air out of the rack and keep temperatures stable. The controls are easy to use, the display is clear, and the noise levels are surprisingly low even at higher fan speeds. It feels like a genuinely premium bit of kit. What made me sigh loudly: The price. It works very well, but it’s definitely on the expensive side compared to other rack fans. You’re paying for AC Infinity quality — which is great — but still, my wallet felt the turbulence. Should you buy it? Yes, if you want a reliable, quiet, well-built cooling solution for your rack and don’t mind the premium price tag. Performance-wise it’s excellent — just not the cheapest option on the market. Great airflow. Quiet operation. Premium build. Not-so-premium price. Still recommend it — especially if you care about noise, build quality, and long-term reliability.

Perfect for cooling my video rack

Very happy with this fan, good quality.

I just needed some fan cooling for my new 9U rack server case. I got a lot more than what I expected. The rack has a lot of customizability and can be daisy chained to act as the "brains" to control other fan systems as well if you have em. I was expecting something on the cheaper end since its off Amazon, but was pleasantly surprised to receive what feels and behaves like industry tier. If I need more cooling I definitely will be buying more stuff from these guys.

The Cloudplate T2 is a great device to cool my 6U home network rack. The rack lives under the stairs in the basement, and was prone to heat build-up. I recently purchased two AC Infinity AIRPLATE S7's to circulate air in the closet. To assist with air circulation, I had a fan under the rack, blowing air up through the components. It worked, but was loud and unsightly. So the Cloudplate T2 was purchased to make the solution work a little better. The unit is very sturdy and professional looking. The LED screen is bright and easy to read. The temperature probe cable is long enough to reach any components, and enables the many dynamic fan modes. The options are easy to configure and installation into the rack was quick. The fans seem to be good quality. They have the ability to move quite a bit of air through the rack, while being quiet. Being on AUTO mode has reduced the temperature of my switch by 34 degrees F. Presumably I could increase that by turning up the fans, which would make it louder. But even on full blast, I can't really hear the fans outside the closet. The one issue I've faced is that I think the Cloudplate T2 is a little too deep for standard racks. My rack is 13.8", and the Cloudplate T2 is 13.5". If there were no additional cables, the Cloudplate T2 would fit perfectly. However the power cable and thermal probe stick out half an inch or so, which increases the depth of the rack, making it a tight fit. If the cables had an L-connector, laid flat, or if the unit was slightly less deep, the fit would be better. I was able to jam the unit all the way to the back of the rack, but I worry this will break the cables in the future. Maybe longer screws could alleviate this. Overall, this is a quality product, and with proper maintenance, I expect it to keep my equipment cool for a long time.

Absolutely amazing for the price.. can’t buy anything close to this from my AudioVideo Suppliers recommend Highly. I’m ordering a second
