How did this get expensive? Is was $7.43 last week!

The prices for the 6oz swing wildly and without seeming logic or reason. I've been following the listed price on Amazon and it continues to swing back and forth between $4.50 and $14.00 every few weeks. I refuse to pay more than $5 per block. If the future is like the past, just wait a week or three if you can and you should see it drop back down. That's been the pattern since Nov. 2019 and now (Mar 2020). Terrible marketing strategy if you ask me.

Deborah, I have a large seed cage that this type of seed cake fits. It has a chain on it to hang the seed cake from a limb or a branch for the birds to enjoy the seed cake.

This is a large seed cake, not suet. You will need a bigger cage if you are planning on hanging it as the suet cages are much smaller..
