Perfect—all size batteries “ever-ready!”
Great battery storage! I bought two, filled them up and gave them to a family member for a pretty generous birthday gift. They were a big hit! The container is sturdy, about the size of a brief case you could carry to work. It is compact for easy storage (big issue), has a good, strong handle for lifting or sliding in and out of any tight storage area, and has extra pockets in the top for hearing aid batteries, instruction manuals, or anything fairly flat, roomy enough to fit some extras of the AA or AAA size too. As other reviewers mentioned, it was sort of a “pain in the neck” to remove all those little foam pieces; but I tried to think of it as therapeutic...or an extra act of love for the recipient! It really wasn’t a big deal—took only a couple of minutes and reminded me happily that this was a new, fresh, unused case. The foam inserts can be used for some future packing need if you don’t want to waste them. After filling up my gift, I liked it so much that I went back and ordered one for myself! When full, it’s pretty heavy. However, it stores so compactly in my very small house that I just slide it in and out of a narrow space next to my desk and lay it out flat to access the contents so I rarely have to lift It. So easy to see when you’re running low on one size too. This is an ingenious invention! Batteries stay fresh and dry in a sturdy case, all in one place, and “ever-ready!” BTW, a couple of reviewers said there was no battery tester. YES, THERE IS, on upper right side—it’s the first thing my gift recipient looked for. “Oh, that’s the most important part!” he says as he immediately tested a perfect new battery. 😛 Another complaint was no space for flat batteries. YES, THERE IS! Right beneath the battery tester, there are multiple slits in the foam to fit all sizes of the little round watch, odd appliance, or small clock-size batteries. You just have to look for them and run your finger across the top. The slits will be obvious. All in all, a pretty great 👍🏼 battery organizer and storage container! Couldn’t be happier!

Excellent battery organizer
I was one of those people who have a big plastic bag of miscellaneous batteries in it along with two or three opened packages of partially used batteries laying around and I finally decided to purchase a battery organizer. I knew I did not want a plastic container since the batteries rattle around and make all kinds of noise anytime you pick it up. This Comecase organizer comes highly rated and reviewed so I decided to pull the trigger on it over all of the other available similar products. When you remove the organizer from the packaging, you will notice a very strong chemical smell. You will also notice that YOU are responsible for pushing out all of the precut battery forms. It does not arrive ready to use use. I just used a finger to push out the larger holes, and a small flathead screw driver to push out the smaller AAA holes. After you push out all of the battery forms, you will want to leave it outside at least for a day or two in order to get rid of the nasty chemical smell. The batteries fit snugly in the holes and there are plenty of holes. The batteries are held firmly in place and you can even turn the organizer sideways with the lid open and they will not fall out. I really like the hard case which helps protect the batteries and it makes it easy to stack it on a shelf on top of other items. I keep it flat on a shelf as the foam might stretch over time if the case was stored on it's side. It would be nice if there were slots for lithium button batteries but they would probably be too difficult to get out of such small openings unless there was a pull-tab in each slot. However the sleeves are useful and I keep my lithium batteries in one of the four sleeves along with a USB phone battery. The included battery tester is cheap but it gets the job done. I threw out four or five dead batteries from my "random bag of batteries" before putting them all in the organizer. Overall this is an excellent organizer and I would highly recommend it.

Comecase Battery Organizer Works Amazing!
Absolutely love this Comecase battery organizer!! It works so great and keeps everything organized and easy to find instead of having batteries scattered everywhere. The added battery tester is honestly such a lifesaver too and makes it super easy to check which batteries are still good without guessing. The case feels nice quality, holds a ton of batteries, and has made organizing so much easier. Definitely one of the most useful organization purchases I’ve made!

Near excellent idea for battery storage
I've used many different battery storage cases trying to find the perfect one. This one comes darn close. All battery sizes fit snugly in their preformed foam pockets and the quality of the case is flawless. Having a battery tester on board is a nice plus making this the ideal storage/testing center for all of your AA, AAA, C & D cell and 9 volt batteries. They didn't forget the button cell batteries either. They put four equally divided storage pockets on the opposite side of the case that I use to store a slew of button cell batteries in their cardboard blister packs that used to be scattered in a kitchen draw. If you also have any nickle-sized button cells floating around wondering where to store them so that they won't discharge, this case can solve the problem. The precut foam organizer has a dozen slots for them, too. If you're like me and prefer to buy batteries in bulk at the big box stores you'll find that it'll store a whole package of 48 AA cells and even more AAA cells. Unfortunately, it doesn't do as well with C and D cells. Fortunately the manufacturer has an optional "MEDIUM" size case that will store a dozen D cells and even more C cells that I will be purchasing to make my storage system complete.

Great quality - I wish I had a case like this years ago!
I bought the Large case, and boy am I glad I did! I’ve got it almost filled to capacity by purchasing 12 packs of batteries to fill it. Everything is now neat, tidy, organized, and (drumroll please.....) IN ONE LOCATION! No more searching through the kitchen junk drawer, or my desk drawer, or the cabinets, or “borrowing” some AA or AAA batteries from a remote that I need on something else. No sir! Now that I have this awesome case, I know exactly where my batteries are and I know that I’m fully stocked and if I ever have any question about whether or not a battery being used in a device needs changing or not, I just pop the battery(ies) out and put them in the included battery tester. It just takes a second and you’ll instantly whether the battery is good or bad. There is one thing I should point out because I didn’t see it anywhere else in the reviews. When you receive this product, when you unzip and open the case up for the first time, you will learn that all of those holes that the batteries fit neatly into———well, they’re not holes yet! The company obviously uses a machine that cuts all of the holes for all of the batteries and the battery tester. However, they do NOT remove the foam! So you have to hand-remove every piece of foam from every opening. You don’t have to cut any holes or anything because it comes pre-cut - I’m simply saying that they cut the holes just fine, but they leave it to YOU to pull out all of the foam. It takes about 15 minutes and at the end, you have a huge pile of round foam pieces. There’s nothing I could think of to do with them, so I just threw them away. But since nobody else has mentioned this, I wonder if I’m the only one who got a case like this with all of the foam still intact (but cut), or if they send all of their cases out like that but nobody has said anything yet. I don’t know the answer to that, but I’m just letting you know. As far as I’m concerned, it’s NOT a deal-breaker because it’s a one-time thing that’s sort of a nuisance, but once you’re done it and then placed your batteries in the case, you’ll be very happy! I can’t tell you how nice it is to have this case now. I’ve only wanted something like this for 35 years, what’s the rush? LOL I am very happy with the purchase, and I would say that it’s better than expected. The case is very high quality, the zipper is not a cheap one—-it’s made well and is solid. Get one and see for yourself how much easier it makes thing in your life when it comes to batteries. The one case is all you need, and having the battery tester is awesome!

Helped me switch over to rechargeables
A few years ago I decided that I'd switch over to rechargeable batteries for AA and AAA. I've (mostly) done it. They key was to make sure that I had enough batteries of both kinds for all my gadgets, PLUS enough charged batteries in reserve that I could swap them out as needed. I quickly found out that so many devices use AA or AAA batteries that I couldn't always keep up. I've lost count of how many of these batteries I have but it still isn't enough. Even with a 16-port charger, I can't always keep enough batteries charged if multiple devices need them at once. But, I'm pretty close, and I go through a LOT less alkaline batteries. An added bonus is that I rarely open up a battery compartment to find that one of the batteries has puked its guts all over the place and that I need to attack the contacts with vinegar and a toothbrush (or worse, repair the circuit board). Aside from a 16-port battery charger and a ton of rechargeables, one of the keys to this has been to store charged batteries in this case. I try to only buy low self-discharge NiMH batteries since they can be stored for an extended period of time and still retain most of their charge. Even if I have to swap several batteries at once, between what's in the charger and what's in this case I'm usually able to get what I need. Sometimes I have to admit defeat and go find alkalines, but most times I have enough to get by. When I store a charged battery, I keep it with the positive (IE the top) terminal facing up. If I have to store a discharged battery for some reason, I keep the negative (IE the bottom) terminal facing up. The foam insert keeps the battery from rattling around loose so I can always tell which ones are charged. The included battery tester is a bit chintzy but it very quickly tells me if a battery has a good charge, so I can't complain too much. Once you set it for the correct battery length you can go through a pile of them in no time, and I have to admit that it's more convenient to have it in the bag with the batteries than to have to root around in the toolbox looking for a multimeter. Perhaps the only regret that I have is that I didn't purchase the larger organizer. However, at that point I'd probably need a second charger, and the whole thing starts to become a mess. I have zero complaints about this organizer. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and looks well made.

Love it for storing my rechargeable batteries
This thing is great and stores a lot of AA and AAA batteries. Looks great and is very protective and decent for travel or moving them. I only store rechargeable batteries so low risk of battery leakage for me. I've been using this for a couple years now and it's still great. I love it.
