Amazon Brand - Wag Pate Canned Dog Food, Beef & Chicken Recipe, 12.5 oz Can (Pack of 12)

My dogs (lab and Jack Russell mix) didn’t seem to like Purina One dog food and I thought the food had a chemical smell. My lab also does not seem to like “gravy” canned dig foods I assume because there is some kind of anti-coagulant ingredient in them. I was hesitant to buy dog food from an Amazon brand but both dogs really love this food. It smells better and I noticed it often has som fat jelly in the cans which although gross seems to me how real food should look. Price is way better than Blue Buffalo and other high end brands.

My picky dog really liked the taste of this dog food. We usually buy the stew type but I accidentally ordered this pate style and to my surprise she likes it even better than the stew. The ingredients are a bit cleaner than other brands. She has a bit of a sensitive stomach as well and this brand has not bothered her. I mix it with a high-quality dry food and my spoiled girl loves it. The cans are a good size, and the price is not bad. Honestly the stew looks a little more appealing because the pate comes out in a big clump - but I guess that doesn't matter to the dog, lol.

This is good stuff. Our border collies coat seems to be brighter and shinier since she has been eating Wag. She eats both hard and soft food, so I give her a full can a day. She eats it as soon as I put it down. Other store bought brands we have tried and she WON'T eat Blue Buffalo, Purina One, Pedigree choice cuts. She's about 62 lbs and Wag recommends 1 can per 15 lbs which I think is too much. One can a day and hard food seems to keep her at a healthy weight.

My dogs didn't care for it. The price difference from their preferred brand isn't that great .

Even with gradually trying to switch foods and mixing in the old and only using a few teaspoons as a topper to try and get my senior dog to eat, this gave my dog the worst smelling diarrhea I have ever experienced in my life, including when I worked ER vet med, which she decided to do on my carpet at 3 in the morning. Not even her pancreatitis attack several years ago smelled this horrific. Do not recommend this food for any dog with even the slightest of sensitive stomachs.

Have 2 german shepherds. This is one of their favorites. Good price .

My dogs love this food. I was using very expensive canned food and this is almost same ingredients for quite a bit cheaper.
