BOSCH5-Piece Starlock Tungsten Carbide Plunge-Cutting Blade/Segment Saw Blade Set (for Wood and Metal, Best of Cutting, Accessories for Multitool)

They're great quality but SO EXPENSIVE and over-packaged
I don't really need a separate plastic case for my blades - I've bought a Bosch Starlock tool with a case specifically designed to hold lots of blades - so I'm left with a lot of hard plastic which will either have to go to landfill or be repurposed for something else - I'm sure the plastic case's only real purpose is to help to justify the crazy expense of these blades. I don't mind paying for quality tools but this smacks of the old Gilete sales model of "sell the handle cheap, but charge a fortune for the blades" - except the tool itself wasn't exactly cheap either...

Good quality cutting accessories
The Braun multi-tool has been my best discovery while in lockdown, an amazingly versatile tool to complement a jig saw. These kits of cutters allow you to use the best tool for the job and are well made and presented in a fitted case. They may seem expensive but in my experience last a long time, especially if you dont allow the blade to get too hot. I used it only yesterdat to cut a square in plasterboard to fit a roon thermostat and there privously I would have drilled one or more holes, this just allows you to cur round the marked square for the pattress box and the job is done.

New blades for an old tool
I bought these with my fingers crossed to fit an old GOP Bosch multitool. Phew, they fit perfectly and are backward compatible. I'm on my last 'old' blade and didn't want to have to buy a new 'starlock' multitool just for the new blades. It's a good selection of blades but they are quite expensive but better to buy a good brand than clone ones that last a week. I'll be using these in earnest in a few days. Great blades that should last some time.

Great selection of cutters
My Bosch multi-tool came with only two blades, one circular segment, one for plunge cuts. I reckoned both would need replacing after esxtended use, so I bought this set of five different cutters. So far I've used three of them to good effect. Mostly for cutting MDF, where the thin blade creates less dust than larger (though quicker) circular saws would.

Not sure these are genuine
Purchased these for some small jobs, not more than 10 minutes use and the blades are being destroyed, the ‘carbide’ metal blade cut 3 screws before being rendered useless. Find it hard to believe these are genuine Bosch, as the blade received with my Bosch multitool is still looking good and has been used a lot more.
