Great Value. Exceptional Customer Service.
I'm a middle aged chick with a bad hip, doing this completely by myself, so keep that in mind. 😎I purchased this to replace the outdated center section of what used to be a complete wall unit for a 27" TV some 20+ years ago.My heart sank when I received it.For one, the top section of the long end of the box was open. 😱Secondly, it was HEAVY. 😳Trying to grab on to it was a challenge as the packaging had no handles or straps and worse, the cardboard was on the soft side and would tear just from the weight.I used my handy dolly to navigate it into the house. If you don't have one, you may need someone to help you get it inside.Upon unpacking, I found that surprisingly, only two pieces had some damage: The top and one of the smaller doors had dings on the wood. See photos. There was ample styrofoam and such to keep the pieces safe. After having turned my living room into a construction site 😑 and with all my entertainment dismantled 😩, I thought well, thankfully it's the top shelf. So I can probably still fully assemble it now and fairly easily replace the top without having to take down the whole thing.I checked installation manual for contact info and emailed Convenience Concepts Support with photos of the damage. This was Saturday. On Labor Day Monday evening I had a reply that they were going to send out replacement parts. On Friday I was emailed a FedEx tracking number and the replacement parts arrived safe and sound Monday (yesterday). That is worth 5 Stars in and by itself. A trustworthy company that 100% stands behind their products. The installation instructions were great. Clear diagrams and precise, short written instructions. Each group of hardware was in its own little bag. On a level of 1 to 10, with 10 being the easiest, this is 8. The only challenging part is getting the little screws in for the backing and doors.I highly recommended a powered screw driver. I used a cordless. It will take forever by hand. For the doors, after some frustration I switched my MO to pre-screwing each screw into the respective hole, taking it back out and then placing the hinges in position to screw them on.My feedback for Convenience Concepts:Thank you for your excellent customer service.- I suggest putting a couple of straps around the shipping box.- The dowels are too small for the holes. Either smaller holes or bigger dowels.- The pegs for the shelves are too small/skinny for the size of the holes. Either smaller holes or bigger pegs.- I would include a small bottle of Old English or similar furniture treatment so that customers can promptly and easily spot treat light scuffs, scratches.Overall impressions:- Assembly is easy.- The unit is STURDY, in part because of the backing sitting inside a grooved space.- It looks great with a rich, warm color.- Excellent value for the money. Certainly doesn't look like a 250 bucks piece of furniture.I made a modification: replaced the side shelves with glass and installed a couple of lights. Also replaced the original pegs with a set I had sit around that provide a better seat in the holes.Treated the whole unit with some Old English furniture polish and it popped. If you're on the fence about this purchase, DO IT 🔜.👍😁

Beautiful, Well Made, Great Investment!
I buy a lot on Amazon, so I don't write a lot of reviews because it is time consuming, but I had to write a review for this. This is an awesome piece of furniture! You can tell from how heavy the box is, that this is made with good quality materials. It is a beautiful piece of furniture, and just the right size! We have 2 toddlers, and this is the perfect height for the TV to not be too tall but to be out of reach of cute little fingers. We have a 43 inch TV on it, and it looks great. And probably the best feature for me- the directions were very clear and easy to understand! It takes some time to assemble because it is well put together, but it is not frustrating. And my assembly probably took longer having my 3 year old daughter wanting to "help daddy" the whole time, lol.

Nice Look
I previously had a glass TV stand that drew a lot of dust and finger prints. I wanted something upright and with doors and shelves. I have Brazilian Cherry laminate flooring so I wanted something that would compliment but also give the area an upgrade.I needed 2 of these, one for the living room and other for a guest bedroom.I had Amazon Services put together the TV and I was checking on the technician and he seemed efficient and completed both in about 1.5 hours. They look beautiful.... An exceptional look. they are sturdy, and easy to move around it when I need to clean behind them or reposition them. Cleaning was so much easier; a microfiber cloth (slightly damp) sprayed with multiple purpose cleaner does the trick in no time. The backing that was included was sturdy, not that flimsy stuff that looks like construction paper! I have received several compliments on how nice they look and how sturdy them seem to be for the price I paid. The only real compliant I have is the hole in the back to thread your cords through should be bigger, horizontal , or above/below the shelf (the shelf splits the hole in half. This makes the hole smaller and awkward to feed power, HDMI, Audio cables, etc. through the hole.

Very Nice
Ordered dark walnut. Although color is a little off from on line picture , it is still a very nice piece. Had hoped wld have been just a little lighter/more 'graining' as appeared on line, but still goes well with my Ethan Allen tables. Apparently I was one of the more fortunate purchasers as I had ZERO damage to any piece. (For what it's worth, FedEx did deliver....STILL considerable damage to box including the omnipresent damaged 'corner' reported by so many others, but thankfully no damage to any piece!) Definitely would have appreciated FedEx notifying of delivery, IE ring doorbell to advise it was here...especially since it was delivered much earlier than expected...by 3 days. Don't misunderstand....was thrilled by early arrival, but wld have been nice to not just discover huge package leaning against siding. All in all, very pleased with purchase. Asked a friend to assemble and everything seemed to go together very well...and without incident. Would definitely recommend.
