My almond lemon cake recipe called for 1/2 t lemon oil. I used a pinch less than it called for to not overwhelm the almond and vanilla flavors. It would also be brushed with lemon syrup before frosting. The cake had a nice light lemony flavor. I’m pleased with this product and will order it again. This is the first oil I ever purchased to flavor a cake, it didn’t have an artificial flavor nor was it harsh or unpleasant. My cake was well received, so for me it was worth the cost.

i thought from the picture the bottle was much bigger than actually was.
