Beautiful set purchased for my daughter. My intention was for my teenage daughter to have this set to provide her with the opportunity to form a morning ritual that would help her set her mornings right when starting back up to online school after the new year. She's been using it every morning and absolutely loves it. I would definitely recommend this set. It's of good quality, it's beautiful and it's working to help her have a morning routine of calm and enjoyment. Well packaged and arrived in perfect shape.

It is gorgeous and exactly what I want to drink my matcha from! The quality of the ceramic bowl is exceptional, has a great weight, feel, and design (Spring petal). Unfortunately, I could see even in its box that there was a chip out of the inside, and upon taking it out, a crack was visible along the outside. It was replacement quickly and the new one is flawless.UPDATE: seller was incredibly responsive, sent out a perfect replacement, very happy.

Beautiful and a pleasure to use. Using this set feels like a mindful meditation practice...such a contrast with a comparatively rushed cup of tea with a teabag . I love the The pottery. I love the feeling of self-care and ceremony. At first I thought it might take too much time to use regularly, but now I find myself setting aside time for a calm cup of Matcha tea - a good de-stressing experience. (does not come with tea).

I do like the quality of this set of “Japanese” matcha serving items. The seller implies a Japanese product, with kimono clad people, etc. even in the Amazon company information page.The box this set came in lists, “made in China.” None of the items in the set have country of origin markings.This is not a Japanese made product...do not be fooled.

I've been using this set to make Matcha for about a month now and I really love it. The bowl has nice weight to it. The whisk works beautifully, my Matcha is always frothy. Be sure to let it soak for a little bit in some hot water before using in Matcha to let the spindles open a bit. They will uncurl, this is normal. Came nicely packed and would make a nice gift.

This item arrived very well packed, nothing was able to be broken or chipped, they did a great job ensuring that. It is very high quality, nothing left out of the kit. I ordered the speckled grey color bowl, as it looked to be the more masculine (for a man's gift) of the options and could not be happier. This is something you would want to display, not just tuck away in a cupboard. I'd recommend to anyone.

Such a cute set, works perfectly and I feel much more officially making it this way.
