Wasabi Power Battery for Canon NB-10L and Canon PowerShot G1 X, G3 X, G15, G16, SX40 HS, SX50 HS, SX60 HS

Good product so far. It charged up quickly and works fine, but only 48 hours with me.

I have used the Wasabi batteries before - in fact, I just recently started looking to replace the ones I bought over 4 yrs ago & settled for a different brand because I did not find the Wasabi listed. I should have looked harder. This one has been in camera, on & being used, for over 2 hrs & is still showing FULL CHARGE. The Wasabi is built on the Japanese cell technology, unlike most if not all of the others. I will be buying another one soon as a spare so I will be confident I can take pics all day without having to carry a half dozen batteries.

I purchased this product to use as back-up power . seemed every time I started using my camera,I ran out of charge. These newer NB-10 batteries last up to 3 times longer than the original battery ever did. They are now my primary power source and the original has become my back-up

Despite Wasabi's claim to a 1,200 MaH rating on their battery it doesn't last as long as my used Canon OEM's. (920 MaH)My over 3 year old Canon NB-10ls will record 2h30m+ of video on my Canon G15.The Wasabi is good for about 2h5m.On the other hand, it costs quite a bit less.I've only had the Wasabi for a short while so I don't know how well it will hold up over years of use.

I have been using this in my sx50 for quite some time and I really like. Takes hundreds of pics before needing recharge. Good deal and way better than others I have tried.

This is the worst replacement battery I've ever purchased for my Canon Powershot SX60 camera. I like to carry a spare battery with me when I'm photographing birds and nature. Perhaps this battery could be an adequate replacement if put in the camera as soon as it has been completely charged. However, if carried in one's pocket for a few days, it is apt to last only a short period of time before needing to be replaced. The BM replacement battery I purchased a few years is wholly adequate, and would get my recommendation if price is one's greatest concern. But when you get right down to it, an original Canon replacement battery at a higher price is probably the way to go.

Easy to use and great for back up batteries.
