This sub box is more than a good budget minded buy, it paired with a good quality amp/sub POUNDS!!!!! I fit a Skar 10" in this box all for around $140 and rattles the mirrors of people next to you. The push type connectors are easy to fit a tightly twisted 10ga wire in snuggly. This is a ported box that just makes the air space for THIS sub (others will vary) and fits neatly behind the seat of my truck so I get a nice back massage while driving OR it's size will also not interfere sitting on the bench seat next to you when ya Honey isn't with ya like a cube or other shaped boxes will. The box is a solid build may need to add some batting (again sub's vary) carpet is securely fit and tight

I was a bit hesitant about the box when I first ordered it, seeing how it was one of the cheapest I could find; however, I decided to go for it and order it in. I have to say that any negative feelings I had were unwarranted. The box is very clean, with no sawdust or grit left over from the factory (a mistake too many enclosure-makers make). The carpet is firmly glued-on the whole way around, and it has a very quality feel. Even though the box is almost half as slim as my old traditional-depth box, it does not slide around. In terms of sound, it's awesome; it makes my 12-inch Pioneer TS-SW3001S4 12-Inch Shallow Step Up S4 Subwoofer sound like a cannon. A friend got in the car and was convinced I had a dual-woofer setup when he heard this going. The box is very tiny, and it fits very tightly for a great, clean sound. If you're looking for tight, responsive bass (for metal or rock), this is a perfect choice.I was also very impressed with the shipping; I ordered it at night and it came in the morning two days later, and that was with the cheapest shipping.The only thing that might throw off a few newbies is that the box doesn't come with wires pre-attached, as another reviewer stated; also, if you've got a dual voice coil, you may want to look at another box. However, for somebody who's looking for a space-saving and cheap solution while getting a quality product, this is the way to go!

Great box! Just make sure you order smd speaker terminals when you order this box. Cause the terminals on these boxes are junk. Other then that a well built box!

Bought this to replace a massive box that came with my 2020 Challenger. Placed a Alpine 10" S-W10D4 S (came with old box) in this unit somewhat knowing it would not sound great due to the small size but wanted a smaller box that fit well in my trunk. This box measured perfectly, laying right up against the back seats (snug fit so no hold downs needed). Tried it first as is and sounded just ok. Placed more "stuffing" (polyfill) in the box...sounded better. Noticed some box noise so I stuffed the exit port hole (all the way down the port hole), as much as I could get in there. Much better sound. Tighter and less box noise. Now, ever sub will sound different but if your using this Alpine sub, do what I did or if your not liking the sound, trying adding more "stuffing" inside. I would recommend a shallow mount sub for this box (my opinion only).

This is the second Atrend brand box I have bought off of Amazon. The other product I bought from them was a pair of 6x9 boxes which I had placed behind the seat of my '96 F250. I've had them there for about 2 years with absolutely no problem!This box is the same story. I put a 10" MTX in it and placed it behind the seat. I had to scoot the seat forward about an inch in order for it to fit, but other than that it has worked flawlessly. The connections for speaker wires are tight on both the inside and out, and the joints in the wood fiber boards seem to be very well made.Pros: Sturdy, slim, good connections.Cons: Carpeting smells a bit, but that should go away within a few days.Update 4/2018: The smell of the carpet did go away shortly after writing the original review. The subwoofer still sounds really good in this enclosure and the enclosure itself has held up to the harsh environment well. Would definitely recommend this sub box!

This box is solid for the money. I am running 1 12” Planet Audio 1800w sub in this little box and it’s rocking my single cab 18 Silverado. So if your questioning if it will fit in a newer model regular cab, the answer is yes!

I ordered this box for my 10’s. However, when it arrived and I tried to place them. They would not fit. I had to get the box shaved a bit for the speakers to fit. It may have been the brand of speakers I had, but nonetheless the 10’s would not fit. It’ll drop in, by the sides towards the coils would not go down. Once I got them shaved, they fit like a glove. I would still recommend the purchase, but be prepared for a slight modification. Fits in my Vette like a glove, sounds amazing, and my roof fits in with zero problems. You can face them either direction. Hope this helps.

I had no problem. It’s installed has good sound and good quality.. may be is not the right one for professionals Lol. Or for super mega strong sound subwoofers may be its not the right one.. for me it’s good does the work right .. the terminal connector is not too high end quality but works fine with a 14/4 speaker cable.. I used the 2 pairs..
