For the keyboard stand, does the locking cap fit to all keyboards at any height? Thanks.

Not all at any height, of course. There are five choices for height: 24 1/2", 29", 33", 36", and 39". There is no intermediate adjustment, although you could use a couple of books (not recommended).

What is going on here? All the reviews mention guitars, but it's a keyboard stand!

When I scanned all of the reviews, only 3 of the 186 were for the keyboard stand, so a little hard to have faith. But all 3 were 5-star, and the brand gets good reviews for the guitar stands. So ... maybe?

I have a General Music CD1 keyboard but I don't see any mounting holes on the bottom of it. Will this stand work with it then?

Same answer as someone else;I don't use the straps either. Some stands don't have any.

Will fit yamaha psr e-243?

SORRY, I can't answer that , but I can tell you it's not UNIVERSAL as I take that to mean. I think it must only be universal to the stands THEY MAKE.. It would not fit mine. It would not fit either one of two stands that I have.
