I am super happy with this purchase.
I am really excited about this new stand. I used to work in the restaurant industry, i.e. on my feet all the time. I now work full time in a work from home desk job, i.e. not a lot of exercise, not even to leave my own home to work either. I started to look up ways or things to change to be more active. I came across all the health benefits of a standing desk. I threw some boxes under my office stuff and decided that I would invest some money in converting my desk. I didn't want to make it permanent, since I have knee issues and would like to sit from time to time.Based on my requirements, this fit the bill and was not too expensive. I mostly needed a raiser for my keyboard, since my monitor already adjusts up and down by about a foot with it's own stand. The construction does seem pretty solid. The platform is metal, and the legs have plastic snap in features. Each joint has a large push button (looks grey on the photo), that has angle measurements printed on them. They also provided a card that displays all the different ways you could set up the stand.PROSIt is adjustable. There are many different ways to move the legs for different heights or angles. There are angle measurements on the joints to help with this, as well as a card showing the different angles to achieve different positions. Folds down pretty small so I can store it away when not in use. Fans work great, although I will be using this for a keyboard and not a laptop. Seems pretty sturdy when shaking it whit it is holding my keyboard. Very affordable compared to other standing desk converters.CONSYou have to take everything off it to adjust it. You have to adjust each leg separately. If using on a desk, might need to put rubber on bottom of legs to keep it from sliding. Doesn't slide super easy, but a little push and it moves.OVERALLI am very happy with this purchase. I was aware I wasn't going to get all the bells and whistles that the expensive versions have, but I was more attracted to the price. I would recommend little rubber pads for the bottom of the legs, luckily I have some laying around. Overall, very impressed.UPDATEAfter using this for a week, there is something I would like to note. I am using the stand to hold my dell keyboard. Unfortunately, you cannot use this stand at an angle (depicted in my first photo) as the keyboard will slide down and sit against the metal lip. This is both uncomfortable to rest your wrist on, and is not ergonomic for your wrists. The keyboard has rubber feet, but it is just a little too far apart to make contact on the metal surface. I suppose if you put a rubber sticky thing underneath, it will work just fine. Another alternative is if you use a wrist pad, which will give your wrists a place to rest. I use the stand horizontally (depicted in last photo), which I have no issues with.

Great stand/fan. mouse stand stinks. Would definitely buy again.
Great stand. Full metal body gives it a sleek finish and doubles as a heat sink. The fan leaves my MBP cool to the touch on the base. Previously my MBP would near scalding hot with the number of programs I was running and I was concerned about longevity but thankfully this is no longer an issue. The lip on the bottom enables you to have the stand at an angle without your computer falling off, which is great for ergonomics. The only complaint I have is the mouse stand is not sturdy enough. I have only ever placed something on it for a few seconds and even then I was worried it would fall. It feels (and probably was) like an after thought, with no proper designing.Overall:Pros:You can never have too many angles to adjust to.Full metal body (it really is, even though it felt like plastic to me at first) really helps with heat dissipation.Fan cools surprisingly well (I run over 50% CPU constantly and its cool to the touch).lip on bottom allows for gentle angle which prevents my wrists form hurting as much.makes my kitchen table and external monitor setup feel "official".Cons:"mouse stand" is wobbly and could hold sticky nots steadily at best.wish the usb plug had a through port so I still had access to the same number of my usb portsI still can't figure out what the extra bottom lips are for.. I guess a fat computer could benefit form them to stop it from sliding over the ledge?I've also used it in the full upright position, although not what I purchased it for, it is incredibly sturdy, something I didn't expect. I wouldn't expect it to survive something smashing it up when the legs are extended, but it is definitely capable of being at the edge of a sofa or bed and surviving regular topples (although your computer might not!). The most useful position I have found is at a 15-30 degree angle on top of a table, you can also run all your cables under it and keep them out of sight and tidy this way, something I am particular about. nice bonus.Overall for the price it is one of my better buys. I would buy it again if I lost my current one.Hope this helps someone out there!
