I was kind of hesitant to use this, we were going to Niagara Falls and I actually wasn't going to bring my camera (Nikon d5600). But it worked amazing, 10/10. It did make it a little hard to see through the eye-piece but I was still able to see through the screen. It did not have any water damage, not even a drop made it in. The price is great, and the drawstring, though a little loose, stayed on good. Good size, easy to put over the camera and can be used multiple times. For it being plastic, it seems pretty durable.

Purchased these to have when, and if needed. Fortunately, have not needed to use thus far. Upon inspection, sfter opening, thought of another possible use, on the beach on a windy day. Looks like they could keep the blowing sand out of your lens, and camera.Follow up. Finally got the opportunity to test these in a storm. High winds, heavy rain. A few drops on the lens, this isn't meant to cover the lens. The camera is completely dry. Wish I could say the same for myself.

Used it today in light rain to drizzly conditions at a track meet. Doesn’t stay in the lens if pulled at all. There should be some kind of gasket or non slip strip on the end where the lens goes but then it would be more expensive.It’s a tight fit on the body of the Z9 so it’s a bit of wrangling to get it on but it’ll fit with a nice little arm slot to keep your hand dry.

Greetings Reviewer,The Camera Rain Cover was okay protecting the camera from rain, but it still allowed the lens to get rain drops, which was expected. I found the camera's sun extended lens cover kept the lens free from rain drops. So life was good in capturing photo during fall and winter travels. The Rain Covers are light weight and easily stored in luggage where space and weight are a premium on flying.SacMac

I bought these for my trip to Alaska and then didn't need them, but I messed around with them and found them to be a step up from the gallon bag solution. Be aware that if your front element rotates when you zoom or focus, you'll have to leave the drawstring a little loose (this less leak proof), or these won't work. It's not a manufacturing flaw, just an element of the design.
