Absolutely love it! Gonna buy more so we aren’t fighting over them.
I was hesitant to spend the money on these since we don’t usually do a lot of sand play when we go to the beach. But unusual shark activity about a hundred miles down the coast, I wanted to up the sandy entertainment for vacation this year. I wish I took pictures but I was going phone free. We actually built up walls for a castle. We had so much fun and constantly having to take turns. I will buy both my kids their own sets for next trip. 12 and 7 they both used it easily.I do wish there were pieces to fit right inside to help pack the sand down tight before pushing it out of the piece but I made do with my hand and the edge of one of the topper pieces. The shovel is great for digging and filling but I let my kids use that. I used a topper piece to dig and pack. Pieces are very sturdy.

Should be rated higher
We had more success building and stacking sand castle bricks than with other products. The syringe design of this product, and the fact that it is smaller makes a difference. I’ll be buying another set for more of us to use. For more grainy sand like ours, its good to get it pretty wet. Slightly drier than a slurry. This gives them a bit more strength. But then get the rest of the blocks stacked ASAP because as they dry, the less stable they are. More powdery sand is easier.

Make perfect pieces for sand castle
This was easy to use and came out of molds perfectly. The only downside was they were a bit smaller than expected... "large" rectangle made a brick-sized castle block. Recommend 1 pack per kid... luckily mine were willing to share on this trip.

Overpriced but still cool
My kids (7 and 8 year old boys) were so excited for these for family beach vacation. With my 18 year old son, they did build some cool structures, but they all got bored before anything became very large. The pieces are rather small, so it takes many many “bricks” to make much of a castle. The photos in the advertising are deceptive. I think this set is quite a bit overpriced and we wouldn’t have done it all over again. But if you want small castles, these are cool toys and make nice bricks.

Not worth the cost
Everyone raved over these - but my 5 year old and 8 years old left them for a shovel and bucket. They did not enjoy them and so expensive and disappointing. BUT, they did do what they were advertised to do. Just my grandsons didn't find them fun like the rest of the reviews.

super fun to make sand castles
bought this for the kids to use on our beach vacation which was a total win. at least for me it was lolthe kids loved using the scraper to dig with but i spent the whole time trying to build a sand castle. being made out of silicone made he molds pretty easy to use. would definitely recommend for all ages.

Very cool kit
I took this to the beach for a mixed age group and it was a big hit! One of the teenagers even spent the entire time building a very elaborate sandcastle with this kit!Very easy to use and keep clean, highly recommended if you're wanting to build sandcastles and other things in more of a construction-based type of way! Great for aspiring engineers :)

Did not work well. Too small. Can do the same with pails.
