So Much Fun!!
This is a great toy and a fun learning experience. I was looking for stringing beads and picked these as the description said the holes were larger...and they are which makes it easier for a toddler to learn how to thread the laces through the holes. The beads are made of hard plastic making them easy to clean. They are also smooth and just the right size for little hands to pick up, hold, and manipulate. This set of lacing beads also has plusses over other sets...their bright colors and the variety of bead shapes. Not only can we practice stringing; but we can also learn colors, shapes, and pattern making all while playing. And coming with a storage bag is another big plus. Other big name stringing bead products come in container without a top; making you have to find some type of container to store them in. Skoolzy you're #1 in my book for having a complete package. This picture is from the first time we were playing with the beads; and even though she's really concentrating here, there was much giggling and laughing as she was able to get the beads on the strings and then run around the room celebrating her happiness at what she was able to achieve. The next day, these stringing beads were one of the first things she wanted to play with again. I just know that we'll have many more days (months and years) playing with these Skoolzy Jumbo Primary Stringing Beads. Playtime just got more fun for both of us.

fun and beneficial
I was on the Hunt for something to keep my almost 2 year old entertained, that she could also do with my 8 year old. At the same time I was looking for something that we could utilize in a classroom type setting for our Toddler Classroom in our Children's Church that would be safe, fun and beneficial. When I came across these Stringing Bead's I thought hey that's exactly what I am looking for. My 2 y/o likes making things work or putting things together and thought she would have fun figuring out how to string them together. It would also give me an opportunity to work on shapes and colors with her, and I was right! She really enjoys them and pulls them out a few times a day and plays for quite some time with them each time. This is a major thing for us as she is not very easily self entertained and rarely plays with toys Her 8 /o brother also enjoys sitting down and playing with them with her. I purchased one set to try with her before getting a set for our Classroom and now Ultimately I want to purchase more for her and I am wanting to buy a few more sets to use in our classroom at church as I think these will be a fun activity for the kids and also plan to purchase another set for one of our kiddos to take home to work with as he has recently been diagnosed as being on the Spectrum and I think these would be a good tool for him as well. These beads are big enough that you don't have to worry about curious minds swallowing them by accident, the holes are large enough that after a few minutes of careful observation the kids can easily get the string in themselves. My daughter has had no problems stringing them herself, but if you find that your child has a hard time grasping the ends of the string just wrap a few layers of tape around it for some grip. The carrying bag is super convenient for quick clean up and storage and allows us to take them anywhere we go (We even used them on a recent short road trip!!) I said all that to say I highly recommend these for any child as both a fun activity and a learning tool.

A useful educational tool
My wife ordered these primarily to help with fine motor skills. Our two year old is past learning the colors provided here, but there is value quite a bit beyond that. The quality of the blocks, laces, and even the carrying bag is pretty sturdy. With this set you can teach some colors, some shapes (2d and 3d), work on their fine motor skills (threading shoelace through blocks) and when they are ready, patterns. We are currently working on fine motor and I am trying to work on patterns with our kid. Our younger child is almost 1 and wants to put them all in her mouth. She is obviously too young but I want to point out that if your kid puts most things in their mouth still, do not let them play unsupervised with these. The spherical shapes will fit in our infant's mouth and while I don't think she could swallow it, we are obviously not willing to take that chance. The only possible gripe I would have about these is that I wish the shoe-lace tip was a little longer. It would make getting the string through to the other end easier on the kid. However, my girl has already gotten the hang of it and I do believe it is helping her learn that not everything has to be forced (as the string bends if she goes too quickly / hard). We haven't really tried any alternative products like this yet, with this being our first.

Careful with the circle and oval shapes, but otherwise great
I contemplated making this purchase after reading many, many reviews.Cons: random assortment of colors so you can't do patterning (as mentioned by another reviewer)... Biggest safety concern is the circles and ovals can fit in the mouth of a 20 mo old... I put those shapes away for now and will bring them back out in another 4-6 months... She enjoys the cubes and triangles plenty, and even watching her like a hawk they are soooo fast at this age, that I didn't want to to take any chances. ... the string that is included is flimsy, but works okayish if I thread them and make a necklace for her to 'wear'.Pros... this holds her attention for 3-5 minutes, which is a record.. lol. I found that a thicker shoestring works great (washed one from my snow boots!) and she really focuses on threading the string through the hole. It's a great fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination building fun activity. We reinforce shapes and colors by talking through the activity. Overall, I am very pleased for the price, and glad that I made the purchase.
