Long Time Rainx User , First Time Concentrate User .
I usually but this stuff by the gallon, literally , but wanted to try out the concentrate to see if it works better . I paid $6.25 for the concentrate here and 4.50 for a gallon of the blue washer fluid . That's about $6 per gallon when it's all said and done . A gallon of the pre mix where I buy it is $7 regular price .That being said economically which ever one works better will be a wash and pre mixed will be slightly easier to use .Without knowing the long term difference I'm giving it 5 stars for the measuring slots on the bottle , small and easy to use tip and ergonomics of the bottle itself . Between the 3 it's easy to get the correct amount into the reservoir without spilling any.The pre mix doesn't streak my windshield at all but works great for about a month then I just do a quick wash squirt and it's protected again .The concentrate should work the same way .I'll edit this review if it doesn't .I'm using this stuff on a 25 Kona work solar glass.

Excellent water beading and good value
First time getting this vs. the usual premixed ran-x product and it was a success. At least here in the SC spring/summer. Water beaded better than any premix I have had in my truck and it was able to clear off moderate road grime and bugs.It was on sale when I bought it so was a solid value proposition also (makes 4 gallons I believe).

I won't hide I'm a Rain-X fanboy... But it's not for no reason.
I put like three different forms of this stuff on my car, it just works. I know there's a lot of people that say it doesn't work and leaves streaks, but pleassssseee hear me out. Their products have so much potential and are underrated.I put this $&@# on my windshield and it leaves opaque streaks!?!-First grab some old newspaper and windex. Clean the windshield until it's undoubtedly clean.-Now grab your regular strength rain-x and apply generously. You will know if it was properly applied if you see an opaque film. If you do not see a definite enough opaque film, you need to reapply a second time (after elbow greasing the existing opaque streaks out) Do not use any more wet products to clean after your complete starting clean on your windshield. Remember to always do one extensive cleaning first before your project.-After applied properly you will see slightly opaque streaks throughout the entire windshield. The more consistent the film color is, the better it is applied. You con continue to even it out and keep applying as long as you use a dry rag to remove the existing film. Once you are satisfied with the amount of product used, grab a clean side of another rag and remove all film until it is completely transparent.-You will know if it is properly applied when you use your wipers with water on the windshield if for a split second after the wipers go over, you see hints of opaque reappearing behind the wipers. At this point add your windshield wiper concentrate to have your coat reapplied as you use. (Use your wipers for 5 seconds once a week or so)Now the coat stays there, and lasts much longer. If your at this point and you still see streaks, you didn't clean your windshield extensively enough the first time. You can always go back and elbow grease everything out before trying again. These streaks are not permanent, it's what a proper coating looks like, which might take some getting used too.The best case scenario for this product is highway while it's raining. You will need to use your wipers so much less because the water will bead up together and fly off. This product makes you rely less on your wipers. Still use them, but you'll notice that your not struggling to see even in the heaviest rain because there's 60-80% more visibility because the water sticks to each other instead of the windshield (so most of it beads up together and slides down). It's not magic, water still is on your windshield it just changes the properties of the surface. Really just added safety to your car. And I'm all for safety and visibility on the road. That's why I recommend it, it takes the edge out of driving in the rain and is just more added safety. If you're going with rain-x, go with both! I would not recommend just going with one or the other, they really work together so much better. Even car washes use this stuff haha! You just get a lot more concentrated stuff here on amazon. One of my favorite brands ever, highly recommend!Elbow grease those streaks out until it's clear and you're going to love the results.Sincerely,A Rain-X Addict.

Excellent product but could use a little better instructions for the ratio
Does the job but it is hard to mix with the right ratio in the right ambient temperature. If it is freezing cold out, then you might want to mix less water, vice versa. You don't want your washer reservoir to freeze and crack the plastic hosing.

entertainment
Pour it in and done. Use it directly on the windshield for quicker results. Love watching the rain flow off the glass.

Works great
I wasn't sure how well this was going to work at first. I am very happy with the results. Water just rolls off of the windshield.

Premix worked better
Premixed works better for me. I mixed this with distilled water to ensure no residue, but the coating of premixed solution is not there. Price and mixing of filtered or distilled water to dilute does add much to the cost of using concentrate but when washer fluid in your car runs out, ease of use and cleaning power of premix seems better.
