Definitely worth the money
This is a definitely good product as it worked on my mom's lift chair with ease. As I've had it over a year now and it is still working fine. Easy plug-in and play I highly recommend this product

Simple Plug & Play - Works!
Just received this remote today. It plugged into the socket without any issues and worked as it should. It's a little bigger than I expected, but that's fine. As long as it works.

Great bargain and versatile - we have 2 brands of chairs--it worked for both!
A terrific bargain compared with the name-brand replacements and we discovered it worked great for two different brand of lift chairs that we own even though none of the 3 controllers look like each other. We originally ordered this replacement controller (black with two white up/down buttons positioned side by side but one slightly higher than the other) to replace a Pride-style lift controller on a chair we bought from Slumberland Furniture a few yrs ago (a tan rectangle-shaped controller with up/down toggle switch and blank oval where pride logo would otherwise appear). I considered buying a different item marketed as "Pride Mobility Lift Chair Hand Control ELEASMB5285 And Others" for approx $70 since that looks just the one we needed to replace, but decided to try the black two-button controller at approx $13 to save some money--plugged it in underneath the chair and it worked great! Then a few weeks later the controller died on a Flexsteel liftchair (different brand) that we had in a different room and we tried the black replacement controller and it worked great there too, so we ordered a second one for that chair. The Flexsteel controller that we replaced was a dark tan/brownish oval shape with large up/down buttons one positioned above the other with corresponding arrows on each button and the Flexsteel logo (blue square with 3 cursive f's inside the square) located below the buttons. So, between the two of them, we saved a bunch of money versus trying to buy original manufacturer controllers. TWO FYI's in case it is helpful to you in diagnosing your own chair issues and making a purchase: 1) The problem for both or our original controllers, which we discovered when we took them apart, was a broken or loose wire inside each of them; the original pride-style controller worked on & off for a while if we held it at just the correct angle because the wires intermittently made contact inside if positioned a certain way, until it just stopped working completely and that's why we needed to finally find a replacement. The second original flexsteel controller just came completely loose inside one day, so it died all at once, needing the replacement. Thrilled we found the black remote to fix both issues! 2) Before ordering the black replacement, I worried it might not fit the recipient plug under the chair because the images of the metal barrel of the pin-plug on the replacement featured a small indention on one side which was merely a dimple on the original controller's barrel -- but that indention didn't cause any issues -- it fit perfectly!)

Good Control, a Bit Larger Than Need Be, Cable Weakness Noted
Lasted 6 years before failing. Worked well, compatible with my La z Boy lift chair. Needed reinforcing as cable enters control. Good, sturdy and functional control. Only problem I encountered was cable fraying at entry point to control box rendering the unit inoperative. Buying a second one. In the In the 17 years I have owned and used my lift chair daily I have had to replace the hand control four times, about every 5 to 6 years.Just got my new control (3/21/25) and it is NOT like the prior model, quite a bit bigger, a little awkward to use. I liked the more compact model but this new one is OK. Plugged right in and seems to work fine. Noted the cable entry point to hand control is exactly the same as my old one and that is the weak part of this unit; repeated bending of the cable at the entry point causes fraying and eventual failure. Planned obsolescence?

It Works!
My husband is disabled and has a "no name brand" lift chair. It began not responding when he'd try to make it go up or down about a week ago. We thought we were going to have to replace it, which we can't afford to do right now. Since it seemed to be an issue with the control, I asked him to unplug it so that I could see what type of connection it had. I searched on here and most of them were really expensive, especially for something that I didn't even know would solve the problem. Then, I saw this controller and the price was very reasonable. I decided that it was worth it to take a chance since it had great reviews. It arrived the next day (!) and we plugged it in. Voila! It works perfectly! This really saved us a lot of money and effort. I am thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Great control replacement
Was able to use this for a broken controller that is no longer in production.

Unplug the old, plug in the new
The outer cord layer on my old control was cracked and threatening the smaller cords within. Layers of electrician tape only worked for a little while. This new control was exactly like the original and was so easy to use. Unplug the old and plug in the new.
