Just perfect
Installed this on a 2015 WRX Limited with Harmon Kardon sound system and it was a dream. This is the exact replacement I had been looking for as every other Android head unit seems to have an issue with the Harmon Kardon systems, but that is not the case here. Straight plug and play, no manual wire connecting or anything. Installed this in less than an hour. Was impressed that the steering wheel controls work was well with the app that lets you program them (I set the speak symbol to use the google assistant). Anyone that hasn't done this yet to there WRX needs to get on it...honestly the car should have come this way (probably better that the 2019 WRX system).

Does not fit 2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0i sport limited as advertised!!! DO NOT BUY!
Bought this for my 2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0i which should be compatible with this unit as it was advertised as being. This is not a “plug and play” unit, it does not fit the car at all, and for just under $600 I am blown away with the fact that it wasn’t advertised correctly. I even took it to my local audio shop and they said the same. The Car Play is trash and doesn’t even work all that good. I am now returning this as I am writing this review in hopes that the seller will revise their listing, or a buyer will see this. DO NOT BUY!

Works well love it
This works well exactly as described, I know some people like am/fm radio but there are a lot of other app options especially with the car play connectivity

Easy enough for everyone!
You will not regret this purchase! Everything came in just fine and was pretty easy for me to install. Everything was labeled and easy to understand. Everything fit snugly and looks clean. The only issue I ran into was not because of the supplier, but because of the previous owner of my 2014 Forester. They had already put in an aftermarket radio and messed up the USB connection in the center console so I had to make a makeshift spot to put the USB connection for this radio. Other than that it truly was plug and play. I’m using it for Apple Car Play and have had no issues. Well worth the money!

Not plug and play for 2014 xv crosstrek with the FM622US stock head unit
Let me start by saying that overall, this is a good head unit, but it is NOT straight plug and play. The Good:-It's essentially a decently specc'd android tablet, and so apps are snappy, screen looks good, transitions are fluid. Anything I can think of that I would want to run in my car, I can.-Android Auto works wired AND wirelessly, I havent been able to test carplay yet as I dont have an apple device.-Large screen while still looking stock once you finally get it installed.-The included free nav software works wonderfully and will definitely come in handy if you are ever without cell signal.-The unit has a standby type feature that allows it to start up immediately with the vehicle, rather than having to wait for a fresh boot. A lot more similar to turning your phone screen on than it is to turning your phone on after you've turned it off completely.-Backup camera works immediately, even if the unit isnt fully booted yet.-If you use the "Chat With Us" option on their website, they are very responsive. Just remember, they are in china so you might be reaching out to them in the middle of the night. The Bad:-If the unit is too warm, the screen will blink until the unit cools down. I'm eventually going to look into installing a PC fan in the dash to run whenever the stereo is powered. This does go away once the car cools down and only happens if you run the stereo after the car has been sitting in the sun.- 4 of the clips were just slightly too wide and had to be shaved down. It took me quite a while to figure out that this was the reason I couldnt get it to push in all the way, since they do appear to line up and it wasnt until I noticed some marring on the dash clip holders that I took out my calipers and measured.-Unit did not come with the correct backup camera wiring harness for my xv crosstrek. I'm not unfamiliar with 12 volt wiring, and after a few hours of research, I was able to figure out what wires on the factory harness needed to go to what wires on the provided stereo harness. You can see my attached photos for reference, but basically I made 4 jumper cables (you can hardwire if you want, i prefer not to mess with the stock wiring). Using the cables, I attached the black power ground from the aftermarket camera harness to pin 15 on the factory harness, the black camera ground to pin 16, the yellow signal wire to pin 8, and the red power wire to pin 7. Hopefully this helps someone.

Waste of money
The so called CarPlay is an APK that works whenever it pleases. It Disconnects by itself sometimes and it won’t connect again unless you erase all data and do it all over again. Bought this back in sept 2021 and as of today the entire device no longer works, it won’t ever turn on.

Works in 2015 Subaru Forester 2.5 Touring with GPS Nav with Harman Kardon
Simple plug in play. I had the touring model with gps nav with harman kardon, the harness works perfectly. the steering control app works flawlessly. the hardest part was pushing it back in. if you have the model like mine you wont have to open the side for the blue or white hvac harness its simply one plug at the bottom.the cons of this headunits is the android crashes from gboard that i cannot fix unless i reset the whole unit and then i update it on playstore with wifi, carplay works perfectly with bluetooth, the bad is that if you link with carplay u cant use hotspot for android headunit and doesnt seem to connect to wifi hotspot that well. Ok after a few days this unit will not bootup and have to factory reset it. now im wondering if its reliable at all, sometime android be crashing nonstop for no reason also…. probably will be retuning
