For starters, I had received a generic remote that functioned except for power button didn't work, and I was certain I ordered a Samsung brand. I immediately set up the return, then placed the order for this Samsung brand remote, and wala, it works! If your original Samsung remote didn't come with the streaming button shortcut apps, don't purchase because it will not work.

Works as intended. All of the buttons work and there was no need to program it, just aim it at the tv and use.The best part about it is that I found the one this replaced 2 days after my order was delivered haha.

The volume didn't work right on the old remote so we ordered this one. It worked perfectly. Looks and works just like a brand new one.

I bought a universal remote when my dog chewe3d the remote that came with my Samsung TV. That remote did not work all that well, primarily because no matter which code I used for my TV brand, the button did not all work the way they were supposed to. So when I saw this Samsung remote for 10 bucks, I was sold, especially since the off brand universal remote cost a couple of bucks more. The Samsung remote works ok but it seems like the single from the remote is weak, because I sometimes have to extend my arm or cast the single to the TV for the TV to pick it up. Sometimes it work on the first press of the button and sometimes I have to press the button several times before it registers with the TV.

my original remote no longer worked, i just placed batteries in this one and it worked immediately. better than a universal remote since I found not all features were compatible w/ the tv

Lose my TV remote in the recent move I made so I had to get a new one. Showed up fast and all was good, but I did find my original remote in my couch. It's a good backup to have.
