Great Explorations Glow In The Dark Wonder Stars (50 Stars)

perfect gift, size is not too big- just right, easy to apply, invisible during the day, beautiful at night.

These stars are just as described. They come with a sticky putty that you tear apart and place on the back of each star to stick to the wall, which you do not get very much of, but it literally only takes a small pinch of putty to stick each star so that is a very important part to remember when you purchase these, but again there is plenty enough there to do the whole pack when used right. The stars need the sunlight or lamp light to charge up and the longer/brighter the light the stronger their glow is. They aren't something that will glow all night, I would say after about an hour without light they will be close to fading out but they are neat and my 9yr old child and her friends all enjoy them. Would def recommend for any kids room, no matter what their age.

I bought this for my 2yr old son -- he loves it when its lights out since he gets to see the stars glow.Its true that you need quite a good light source to get the stars charged up. I place some stars right above a floor lamp and those glow very brightly. Another cluster of stars were placed in a darker corner and those don't glow as well.And yes, the glow goes off after about 5-10mins max. I am fine with that because in this way my kid doesn't get distracted and stay up the whole night :)The stars stay on well. WE only had 1 star fell off but it was easily fixed with more putty.My son also likes to carry the largest star around -- he brings it with him during hide and seek so its not too dark in the closet!!

Awesome and easy to use. Looks wonderful on the ceiling and glows for a while in the night.

Good for the price. They glow nicely. The tiny ones are very, very tiny. Approximately the size of a dime. You get a lot of those but only two large ones. It worked for the small space I used it in but if you want to put them on a ceiling, I think that you would need a ton. The other annoying thing is that they are not adhesive backed. You get a small square of adhesive putty that you have to cut and stick on the back of each one. It is not enough for all of them. I could only do the medium and large ones, and I had to use all of the small ones on the floor instead.

All stars came in on time, none broken, and no duds. I'm very pleased with this companies product, and plan to buy many, many more!There is also a "lifetime glow guarantee" that allows me to put dud-stars in an envelope, send them off back to the company, and get replacements! Talk about customer service, when I was a kid and you had duds, you just had to throw them away.Speaking of which, it's apparent that many of the reviewers on this site didn't have these as kids; you guys are using WAY too much tack if you're running out, because I had a little less than half left over. The amount of putty you're supposed to use for this is so small that if you dropped it on a carpeted floor, you might as well give up on finding it. The amount for the three big stars should be MAYBE the size of your smallest fingernail when it's spread out. And as for popcorn ceilings, no putty will be friendly with a nonsmooth surface. If you want some up there, instead go for some cheap double-sided tape.

The glue thing on these is amazing. I've had these on the ceiling for 7+ years! Maybe 1 has fallen.
