I have heard that this is why some people like to carry a 25g cartridge
I was finally able to try these out when I got a flat last week. These work well with a CO2 bike pump and quick inflated a tube. One cartridge was enough for a 700 x 23 tube to 90+ psi, and I had some gas to spare in the cartage after. The pump wouldn't fit back into my saddlebag connected to the pump, so I am not sure how much more gas was in the cartridge, although I don't think it would be a problem inflating up to a 700 x 28 tube, but not so sure how much bigger it could inflate. I have heard that this is why some people like to carry a 25g cartridge, but these worked out fine for road bike tubes.

Not made in China
When I received these I immediately noticed the nice finishing job done on them. They look like they were made with some caring about craftsmanship. Then I found the reason: They are made in Japan instead of China, where they make stuff that barely functions and looks like it was made as a second thought. One set of cartridges I got from Amazon had roughness in the threads and I had to thread them through a steel bolt just to make sure they would thread onto the dispenser when I was stuck with a flat out on a ride. These are well crafted with no problem in the threads.Of course it's the performance in delivering CO2 that's the primary objective, and these do that well. It's just nice to see something that's well crafted for a change.

Good priced threaded cyclinders for bike inflators.
If you need CO2 cartridges for an inflator (I recommend the Lezyne Alloy Drive inflator, with its snazzy alloy case for the cylinder and adjustable valve), I recommend these. In a large size box like this, I don't expect to run out anytime soon, as I use the CO2 inflator for emergencies only. If time permits, I use the pump in all my bike kits. A pump works better long term, as CO2 leaks quickly from a tire. When used, I always drain the CO2 and refill with compressed air once home.Just note that they are threaded (some inflators use threaded and others non-threaded cylinders).

they're great
I bought these in a 15 pack from a bulk re-packager. They're high quality and of a better quality than some of the name brands of the same item. At $1.49 per unit is far nicer than $3.00 or $4.00 per cartridge. I use a high pressure pump to inflate my bike tires prior to riding, but on the road theses are a godsend for ease and convenience when repairing a flat. I won't leave home without a couple in my seat bag.

Did not come in boxes as pictured on Amazon. ...
I was skeptical when I first received these. They did not come as pictured. What I got was a bunch of loose cartridges in a ziploc bag. There was no writing on them and where they are sealed isn't perfectly flat. There is a slight dimple on most of the seals. With that said, I have had the chance to use these several times this summer. To my surprise they work perfectly. Don't waste your money at your LBS on co2 that's 3 times as expensive. These do exactly the same thing as their pricey counterparts!

Just what I'd hoped for!
I'm all about supporting our LBS, but when the cartridges there are $3 or $4 a piece, I just can't get behind it. Was hoping when these arrived they'd work for my Lezyne Trigger Drive, and couldn't find a review which confirmed it, but based on the images and the description thought it likely they'd be compatible... They sure are! Super pleased with this purchase. 15 cartridges at about a buck a piece. The threads are clean and just right for the Trigger Drive. Very happy with this purchase.

Lucky
Bought these and haven't had to use them yet!! I'm knocking on wood as I type this. They arrived unharmed even thought they weren't package well at all and all the threads seem to be consistent and I'm sure they will be fine when that dreadful day comes that I have to bust one out to inflate my tube on the side of the road.Funny because I was averaging about a flat per week before I bought these. I think if nothing else, these were a very smart purchase.ha

a MUST HAVE
priced right, and good quality, if you really ride a bike a lot you need these, great for instant inflations on the side of the road or trail!these have kept me from walking home a number of times when i got a flatadd a patch kit, a couple tire irons, and an inflator, and you can fix about any tire issue anywhere, even when there is no air hose available, these are a must have and usually sell for about 3.00 EACH in a store
