While at first the game seems to be a bit complicated it’s actually pretty easy to learn, it incorporates all aspects of the games (with some liberties taken) but mostly focuses on the first installment, tons of fun even for people who don’t know anything about the games!

While a little daunting at first, once the rules for turn progression are understood the game is fairly straightforward. The perception of a difficult learning curve is worse than the learning curve itself. After playing a trial round with friends, the game became second nature and extremely fun. The adaptation of the Talisman game style works wonderfully with the game and franchise its based on. Easily one of my top ten board games now.Lastly, need I mention the game itself is gorgeous looking? Seldom have I ever seen such stylistic portrayals of a franchise that is so close to the original material, and cares to make every aspect of the game feel integrated into its own miniature universe. One could practically frame the board, cards, etc. and have a fine piece of artwork.

Such a great game! I have never played Talisman before and so I thought this might be really complicated to learn to play. While there are a lot of elements to gameplay, I found that the instructions make it relatively easy to start to get the hang of it! Once you start playing, it all starts to make sense. It is so much fun to play and the board is beautiful! It also shipped quickly which I appreciated. All pieces came and were not broken! It is a bit of an investment, but absolutely worth it! It is very fun!

This game is amazing, just fantastic. I got it for my bestie for Xmas and we finally got around to playing it yesterday. It is so fun. It took us about a half hour to figure out how to play, but I wouldn't say it's nessiarily hard to learn. I almost see it as a cross between MTG and a board game. Oh I gotta mention, it feels like you're playing kingdom hearts the video game at points. This is EXTREMELY well made and thought out. Anyone who is a fan of KH or complicated board games....this is what you need in your life, trust me. Do yourself a favor, and introduce this game to your friend group. You won't regret it.

Everything about the game is really high quality from the game board to the structure of the game. My wife and I really liked playing it and we loved how they were is so many different pieces. I love the keychain idea when you want to attach a card to a space. That mechanism should have been input in a lot of different other games but I've never seen it before. The one thing that I'm not satisfied with is the quality of the game pieces themselves. I bought Marvel United and I was able to paint those figurines and I really enjoyed the quality of the plastic that was used for those figurines. I'm trying to do the same thing with these particular pieces and I'm noticing that the quality is not as good. For one thing the details are much smaller then those larger pieces in the other game and second there's a lot of imperfections. Not too many but enough to make it annoying while trying to paint them. Just an FYI for those who are thinking to buy the game and wanting to paint the pieces.

Not sure what else to say about this. It takes such a long time to play, difficult to learn. I’ve never played another version of Talisman before, but I’m sure this would have been easier to play if I had.I bought this game for my wife who LOVES Kingdom Hearts. It doesn’t bring the joy of the story, nor is it as interactive as one would hope.

If you're a kingdom hearts fan. This game is for you. While I havn't gotten though a actual game yet, the game itself was very well presented by usaopoly. The only thing is the player pieces are not the best quality. 3 of the pieces did arrive broken. However I reached out to the buyer (which was super nice) and they reached out to usaopoly to send some replacement pieces (which they did) I just got the replacements in the mail today. I am very pleased with the whole purchase!

If you're an original Talisman fan, please keep in mind that this version has been catered to a younger audience. It wasn't a problem for me while playing because I a) already knew the rules and b) could just look them up. So if you're a new player and want the full talisman experience, please make sure to look up the original rules online as this version has modified rules.
