This is a brilliant product that does what it says it will. The exfoliating side works very effectively and the soothing side balances everything out. I just use a moisturizer after that and I'm done. That's my entire daily routine. There is a smell associated with these but it is not off-putting, in my opinion, and it disipates rather quickly.

I got these for my husband since he’s been interested in skin care lately. I thought a facial cloth would be an easy step in skin care for someone who doesn’t want to do too much preening.The clothes are really large, like big enough to cover a whole face. I was surprised at how rough the texture is. One side is softer and the textured side is pretty sandpaper-y. Not a problem for some skin types I guess but they seemed a bit harsh.The smell is like a very chemically floral scent. It’s pretty strong and my husband mentioned a few times that he can’t stand the smell.So we’re going to probably cut these into more manageable sizes and just use them for exfoliating every so often. I’ll look into getting a different product for daily use instead.

Great product, smart to have one rough side, and one smooth side. Somehow it actually works perfectly. The thickness is absolutely fine, never had an issues there. The smell does not seem particularly “scented”, smells like what you would expect a semi-medical chemical smell to be. It’s not offending at all. And doesn’t remain after use. I prefer the smell than any scented one. The only issue I had, and this may be more because of my use case (it travels around with me every day in a backpack) but Very quickly, I’d say quicker than normal/than what I would expect (unless somehow something in my bag got hooked on it perfectly and ripped it off), the top plastic part that opens up to remove one, Very quickly became detached, seems the adhesive was either ineffective, or again maybe it took a bad clip while in my daily bag, that ripped it off just right. But for the price, I kinda wished that opening/plastic part (used to open/close the top to access the product) was better affixed. Maybe instead of seemingly weak adhesive, somehow integrate it with the plastic itself. Or, drop the whole hard plastic opening concept altogether, in favor or an (arguably) more durable opening/closure that was built-in to the plastic itself, with a little reusable adhesive under it to allow it to seal back up after use, like other similar products do. I dunno, most probably prefer the hard plastic too, I can just say with experience that it royally sucks when/if that adhesive fails and it becomes detached, cause your product is now completely exposed to the air and is likely to be reined, and I don’t see you (easily) reattaching that thing once it’s lost it’s bond to the plastic. You’d be forced to put the item into a sealed ziplock back, which (arguably) it should be stored in from the start. Anyway, an oddly-long and oddly-specific claim of issue with the product design, possibly due to the environment it was used it (in a backpack and traveling daily). But, there it is. Buyers, I’d strongly consider putting the thing in a ziplock bag, and be familiar that the adhesive used to affix the plastic top may not be the best, and may fail. Other than my quibble with the packaging, the product itself seems to do exactly what it says it will do. Price is high though.

This product is truly unpleasant to use. From the start, the odor is immediately off putting: strong scent of chemicals. The towelette itself is sand-paper rough & feels awful on the skin… made worse by the stinging burn of the chemicals seeping into the abrasions created by the towelette. Despite directions saying that rinsing is unnecessary, I couldn’t wait to wash it all off right away.The result made my skin feel stripped, mangled, and raw… plus the redness made it look like a bad sunburn. In effect, this product caused abrasive & corrosive damage to my skin.I regret buying and using it.

These wipes are great. One side is coarse and the other side is fine so that you can be more gentle in the delicate eye areas which should not be damaged. I use daily and can both feel and see a difference - at least for a short period of time.One wipe is more that I need at one time so I cut what I need without unfolding the wipe and then save the rest for the next use. Although it is possible to restore the remainder of the wipe in the lift-top container, I don't because I don't want to contaminate it. I store the remainder section separately.I can't speak to the chemistry but I do know that my skin feels better after I've used these to exfoliate.

There's a lot not to like about this product. First is the fact that the product leaves my face sticker than when it started. Using oil absorbing sheets immediately after using this Anthony product STILL takes off more oil than these cleansing cloths, demonstrating that it's neither cleaning nor removing oil to a sufficient extent. Second, the scent is reminiscent of 6 month old black licorice soaked (also for 6 months) in urine. (I can't make that up.) I've smelled rancid garbage trucks, flooded with spoiled milk, having sat and fermented in the hot summer sun that have a more appealing fragrance. It's honestly genuinely horrid. The third issue is the price. For the lackluster results and fragrance these cleansing sheets provide, they should be paying us to use them. The only good thing about them is the dual textured cloths. The grit of the textured side could make for some good scrubbing action, and the cloths ARE sturdy, but again, since they smell and otherwise perform so poorly, giving them one more star (to 2,up from 1,) that's a very generous rating.
